This place is heaven in Oxford. Opened every day through the night and the food is amazing. Staff are very nice and friendly, hard working people. The two ladies at the counter Maria and the other nice lady are amazing and always nice to talk to. The lamb chops and Turkish bread are to die for.

One of the dirtiest/unhygienic takeaways I've been in.The staff regularly shake hands with customers/friends and then go straight into making food without washing their hands or putting on gloves. The meat counter has a ton of mixed meats which are sitting over a pool of blood. I can only hope that the meats are kept at a safe temperature.I couldn't eat the food due to the hygiene issues, but my family ate and they enjoyed the food.

One of the very few places in Oxford that cooks authentic Turkish Kebab on real CHARCOAL. Reasonably priced and great taste. It is busy most of the time so you may have to wait a bit before being served. It is always worth the wait.

Went there today, what a find friendly staff, service was excellent food was very hot, best chips my partner has ever had. Very clean. We both had a fantastic lunch. Would highly recommend.

Beware: The guy who runs this place is very sneaky and deceitful about the pricing. Long story short, you will be charged DOUBLE the price just for eating in, and no one will show you the actual menu before you place your order so you literally won't know what you're getting yourself into. The full story:We wanted a takeaway and he kept insisting that we sit in to eat. We finally gave in and he, while laughing and clearly acting like he was joking, said that he will charge us double just to eat in. We laughed together and didn't give it a second thought. After eating, when we went up to pay, he literally charged us double and said the price was based on this menu he had next to him (rather than the pricing clearly written on the boards above for everyone to see). We never saw that menu before nor did he ever try to show it to us before ordering.Plus, the food itself and the service were mediocre to say the least so there is really no point in dining at this place.

Tried the food before the Jummuah prayer. I ordered the lamb stew. Portion was great (though still too much for me). But the lady who served was so kind and always smiling.

Amazing and generous, lovely Turkish bread and dips served for free as soon as we ordered, lamb chops were perfectly cooked, tender and juicy, same with the lamb shanks, nice donner kebabs, good cacik, tables could be cleaner, bit sticky at times, sometimes cigarette smoke gets pulled through the restaurant from smokers either out the front or back and the toilets have a mild "toilet" smell; all of which is a result of being very busy and popular, so let it slide and enjoy the great food and very reasonable prices!!!We loved it!!

Great little Turkish Halal restaurant in Oxford at the famous Cowley Road. Prices very reasonable.Definitely loved the mixed donor kebabs but humours was slightly disappointing and in need of more olive oil.Overall very satisfying dinner with the family.

Long story short!!! Just go the one to the right called 'Anterp’! Guaranteed good food!Fabulous experience at this freaking place, walk into this place with high expectations which is later proven to be the stupidest mindset ever. Lead to an uncleaned table with rice randomly on it, we asked the waiter to clean it, my man is so well trained that he wiped the rice right onto my chair. 40 minutes after ordering the most ‘cost efficient’ quarter pounder which is just Tesco bread, Tesco meat patty, and the solid slice cheese,it finally came and this homeless burger cost me £6.50. The lamb chops I ordered was shown in the picture, 4 pieces of lamb at the same size of my finger nails and rice( eaten a bit) cost me £12.90??? Once they served the lamb,I regretted saying the burger is the most cost efficient one , the lamb just nail the prize👍
