The area is cozy and warm. Food taste great!

Staff were lovely and friendly. Food tastes nice. Roast potatoes not crispy, asked if I wanted sauce and then didn't bring it. Chips slightly under done. Pork was beautiful but no crackling. Definitely not a bad place to eat. Will go again.

It was perfectly OK, food was pretty lacklustre to be honest - chips were a bit soggy and burger, while not too bad, was nothing special. Bar staff seemed way to preoccupied to actually take a food order but they did appear after a few minutes of standing at the bar.

Lovely pub, great deals on food. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy inside. Not far from the hospital so good while waiting for appointments. X

I had booked a table for myself and my Aunt. She did have some difficulty managing the steps into the place but once in we were fine. We saw a lively burning fire feature and the table was clean.We both had fish and chips. The fish was well cooked and the batter was not too hard. I liked the wedge of lemon too.The staff were attentive and friendly. A most enjoyable lunch.

It was quiet as middle of the afternoon but warm so we could dry off a bit after a wet walk. Others around us were eating and there were empty plates which is a good sign

Amazing atmosphere where you can have an enjoyable drink with friends to having a nice dinner with the family.Very affordable food selection, with a great variety of fresh local pub food, from classic pub roast to unique Britannia specialties.Aimed more so for locals but very welcoming to all.

Great service, good prices and good food. Will be back for a Christmas party

We came for a late lunch and it was a really great experience! Was a great atmosphere, nice and chilled, seating outside with heater - the food was beautiful! We had amazing service from Luke, nothing was too much bother for him, he also recognised my partners plate looked bare (fussy eater and took a lot of the extras off) and offered additional options for him. Would definitely recommend! Thank you for a lovely lunch!

Went there last week and had a good good time and meal. Hoped for a larger vegetarian meals, didn't feel like that was enough for the main vegetarian meal. Asparagus and basil pasta was without any special taste and too much pasta, the lentil pie was great tasting but again to small portion for vegetarian meal. But would recommend them!
