Incredible fish and chips and kale and avocado salad! Lovely atmosphere and helpful staff.

Slow service, if you get your order at all. Maybe it was covid. Quality of the food was generally good. Staff seemed to be rushed and flustered.

What a beautiful experience, at browns! Everything was perfect, great quality of food like always and great staff! I've ordered a steak with smashed potatoes! The stake was amazing, cooked perfectly, like how I like it! Also our waiter was really professional from the beginning up to the end. They understand if you need something without moving a finger!Thank you and see you next time

Excellent experience. I went with some friends for afternoon tea but ended up eating lunch. The tea service looked excellent and my friends were very happy. They also offered a gluten free tea.My food was very good and the other items on the menu looked good as well. The service was really good and the place is well lit and comfortable. I highly recommend.

From start to finish, we received impeccable service. The food was on time, hot and delicious. Guests commented on the excellent quality of the food. Nothing was too much trouble and i cannot thank the Oxford Browns team enough. I look forward to returning and will highly recommend in the mean time!

They accommodated 20 of us with fault and all had hot perfectly cooked food in good time whilst maintaining a great level of service. Couldn’t ask for more 👏🏻

It looks very nice but everything was overcooked, dry, or seasoned and cooked incorrectly. The sauces were wrong wrong wrong. Nothing seemed seasonal or homemade but I’m sure it was. Desert was also quite sickly. Cocktails were fine but should I need to pay £2 on top for you to bring it to me? The waiter removed the charge (10% + vat) but this seems a bit odd to me. Glass of Gavi was the best part. It’s a lovely atmosphere and the service is very attentive but it was quite disappointing to have a disappointing meal and whilst eating it slowly I’m being asked if I’m done yet at every course ?

Friendly staff, nice cocktails, lovely choice of food. My chips were cold but they were changed immediately. Great atmosphere. Bit disappointed that they ran out of the Old Fashioned bearing in mind it was 8.30 on a Friday night!

On the edge of the City Centre just on St Giles, this is a standard Brown's and you can rely on lovely surroundings and good quality produce. We just felt the staff were a little undirected; people seated quickly but thereafter waiters and waitresses all congregated around our behind the bar while customers seated waited for some attention. Nice tea!

Really lovely at Browns. The staff are so accommodating, nothing was too much to ask. Partners and kids joined later and they made sure they had a table and swiftly served. We will definitely go back.
