I think we've found the perfect pub! Friendly staff, fantastic food, super dog friendly (with a perfect Rosy Greyhound sized padded bench, plus doggy treats), a very busy Sunday quiz night, and a great selection of drinks. We'll be back.

Nice, quiet pub. Felt quite covid secure. No bike racks that I could find but there is a fence you can lock your bike to.

Fantastic pub, great food and the staff were fabulous.One of my brothers has been in the local hospital for months and is now using a wheelchair. The family visit in rotation but wanted to meet together and take him out to lunch.It's a fantastic small and friendly local pub. The staff were really accommodating and helpful and made us feel welcome. The food was high quality and reasonably priced and very prompt service.A very positive recommendation from the entire party of 7 👍 Definitely give it a visit if in the area.

A really friendly place. A reasonably sized beer garden. We went for a pint while ordering food from London Road takeaways. We were lucky to get in as they had bookings later. It's not the easiest place to find but there is limited free parking ( a premium in the area).

Great place, very friendly owners. Small but good range of drinks, something for everyone for sure. I've had food from there before and it's good, can be on the smaller side if you eat a lot. During covid when the kitchen wasn't open they let us order food whilst we sat outside and drank. They run quizzes during normal non-covid times and overall would recommend, it's not really a bustling student pub, it's a proper local and that's a good thing. There is a cat, you might want to stroke it but it might not always want to be stroked - watch out!

Totally awesome place! Came 2 nights in a row & the food was great & the beers cold. They love friendly dogs, so bring em along. Would highly recommend!Update: I just couldn't stay away! Came back 2 more times & had the Beef Ultimate Burger! Wow! Best burger in the area by far! The Stilton is strong, so have without if required.Thanks to all Butchers Arms staff for the awesome service ;-)
