Cafe Coco in Oxford

What a great place and Clint is a cracking guy, came here for my daughter and he took the time out of his busy day to chat to her, then came back for dinner (for Chorizo pizza) and met the lovely Raffi, who is equally brilliant and lovely.

I entered this place excited to have a breakfast. The decoration also looked good. The place was empty except one client with her kid. Unfortunately, the personnel was awful. They sat us down to the smallest table(you could barely fit two plates) that was ever produced, even though the place was empty. I asked the waiter to change us(we were two people) table and he denied saying that this is a table for two people. I asked him why the lady sits on a table for 5 people and they are only 1.5 people. He said and I quote "because". That was it we just stood up and left.Awful service from a too "debonair" staff. I cannot say about the food

We went here early in the morning (10 AM lol) for breakfast, a bit skeptical because the average rating was a bit low. However, it exceeded our expectations! The atmosphere was very calm and cozy, and the service was excellent. We felt neither rushed nor needing to chase down the server for anything. Our food was delicious and we left very full and satisfied. Cafe Coco will definitely become a tradition!

Yesterday (Nov 7th, at 10.30 am), my partner and I took a colleague who is here visiting and his partner to breakfast at Coco. We now regret it. More than forty minutes after ordering our food, we had to order it again (they had completely forgotten!). When they finally brought it, some of the pieces of cutlery were dirty, and my colleague's partner found a hair in her food. Worst of all, maybe, is the fact that we never got an apology (they also tried to charge us for table service). The waiters/waitresses looked absent-minded, as if they did not really care. It was an embarrassing experience, and I had to apologize to my guests (I had suggested Coco because it looks nice from the outside). So, I can only say: if you are trying to make a good impression on someone, Coco is not - in my experience - the place to go.

Was disappointed with the burger. The sign says “best burgers in Oxford “ but I’m sorry they are not, not by a long way. It could be a wonderful place as the building is really nice but it’s just not been looked after. It looks dirty and tired.

Where shall I start... Only one slice of toasts (2 halfes) , one piece of egg and one piece of sausage. Too big mushrooms and I didn't expected these kind of potatoes on the plate for a full English breakfast (it was written on the menu tho) but it was too sweet to be there... Drinks are really nice, made out of real fruits freshly squeezed. A little bit pricey
