Had an impromptu meal here today and I can honestly say it was THE best meal I’ve eaten in a long time and my partner agrees. The servers were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food… well, what can I say? Sheer perfection! Beautifully presented and very tasty. If you want to give your tastebuds a treat (and you can get a reservation) make sure you visit this restaurant!!!

It's a lovely Thai place in the heart of Oxford... The food is absolutely delicious and the atmosphere is also great. Not easy to get a space, so make sure to book in advance. Definitely worth it, no doubt!

Really great for a nice dinner or lunch.Meals were really delicious and service was quite fast.Watch out for spicy food, it is not for the weak, but not too bad.Definitely worth getting a side dish of rice with the curries maybe to share between two people.Food and drink can get a bit expensive and portion sizes are not particularly large.Beautiful Oxford cottage-style interior makes for a lovely atmosphere. Can get busy especially on the weekend (just like everywhere in Oxford) so definitely worth making a reservation even a few days ahead.

Booked for Valentines lunch at this “Thai” restaurant. Had great memories of this place going back 30 + years. Don’t know what we were served today. But it didn’t taste Thai at all. From point of order to dishes served took all but a minute. We received semi-warm microwave meals? Service comparable to McDonald’s: no follow up from staff to see if we needed anything else, or we’re happy with our food. The non-Asian waitress was also talking very loudly to the other staff, once the other customers had left the restaurant. Very annoying as we could not finish our conversation. If you like a high level of service and hot & delicious dishes I suggest Bangkok House. And If you want good Asian food- when you go to a restaurant you should check out how many Asian people are actually eating there....that will give you a good indicator.

One of the best tasting Thai food I’ve ever had! Seven of us went for my partners birthday and we were all blown away with the food. Such a beautiful spot in the heart of Oxford. Staff were lovely and very helpful in deciding what to order. Great experience all around!

Great ambience. Wasn't sure what I was ordering- found I had ordered TWO main courses. Mind you, they were delicious. My partner was more sensible. They all arrived pretty quickly. Lager and coffee a tad expensive. Service charge added to bill, but it was discretionary so we opted out. Just left a couple of quid. Would visit again, but would be more careful what we ordered.

Walked in without booking restaurant was very busy but they got us a table for 2. The staff were friendly and helpful with fast service. The food was amazing steamed queen scallops, veggie spring rolls, stir fried prawns and a vegetable green curry.

The restaurant is easily missed as its hidden down a cobbled alley way but finding it felt magical.Despite being busy and wandering in cause it looked cosy and smelt amazing, they managed to put together a table for us while they were busy. The food was tasty as heck and served quick. And the portions were very generous. Staff where friendly and accommodating. The decor inside was warming and authentic. Would love to go again when I'm next there and thoroughly recommend.

Very nice and authentic food and staff are very friendly. They made some mistakes with our orders but they tried to fix it asap, so really appreciate it! We had the chicken wings and skewers as starters, which are both good; my friends had green curry with coconut rice, but the rice was a bit too soft; and I had the pineapple fried rice, which was very tasty! The mango sticky rice is good, and the sweetness of the thai iced tea was right about it, unlike some other thai resto which make it too sweet.

I am so impressed with the meal we had tonight, we eat a lot of Thai food (both at restaurants and home cooked), and I can honestly say this was the best Thai meal I've had. The ingredients were fresh and wonderfully aromatic, staff we incredibly friendly and welcoming. We are only staying in Oxford for one night, but would certainly eat here again and again!
