Chicken Hut in Oxford

Paid order decline for no reason. Manager over the phone was bit rude

I this occasion the gent was Friendly Instore, However, -I questioned and doubled checked my order with the gent after my bag felt light before leaving he reassured me that it was all correct! I got home and I missing £6 worth of food so I called and spoke to the same gent who was insistent with an aggressive tone that he put it in the bag - told me over and over again implied I was lying and trying it on- I wasn’t - He is a liar it wasn’t in the bag!! I’ll take my custom elsewhere in future

Rude staff, poor food and they close whenever they feel like it apparently not the time stated online

Ordered meal on phone but it seems they don’t care as I went over there to pick my meal and the guy on counter said they forgot.

I had few issuesi bought a box meal and 6 pieces of chicken and :1.i ordered a box with 2 sides but when i got home there wasn't any sides in my bag2.i ordered 6 pieces and i just got just chicken thigh, no legs, i understand legs are more popular but it should be fair to all the customers.3.staff are not very welcoming and friendly and they dont really dont know how to smile and welcome customers ,, they were not really rude just not friendly at all4.i paid cash and the staff prepared the food with same hand without washing or using hand sanitiser,5.the quality of the food is not as good as before , chicken were really salty even when i took the skin off still could taste lots of salt.i am not saying these to criticise, i just hope they improve their service and make it better

Chicken Hut CowleyOrdered chicken combo 3 piece meal got home to find no spicy chicken wings and chips were dry and over cooked look at contents in bag not edible. Recommend avoid this place

Very bad service, for someone who doesn't eat pork or beef I don't recommend you go there as they use the same tongs to touch the all the meat and bread, when asked about you he said he would put fresh buns but we could see him using the same ones, he carried on using same tongs for the chicken, they also put whatever sauce they feel like without asking just assuming what u will have, when we called his attention again and asked for a refund he didn't like it he tried to be intimidating, carried on shouting and swearing at us and taking his time to give the money back, after 10/15 min of arguing and making threats then they decided to give the money back. The service here is often very bad and dirty, be aware

I ordered a Peri-Peri chicken burger meal. The bread was nicely toasted, however, the chicken fillet was very small which was quite disappointing as I had expected something more substantial having tried this at other places. The chicken was well-seasoned which has to be said and the fries were cooked well and the portion was more the adequate. The cost of the meal was £6.50 which is quite reasonable I believe. Customer service was poor as the man wasn't friendly and his level of English wasn't great either which made communicating my order difficult. Would I recommend this place and return? The answer is no unfortunately.

Had to give it a star🤣🤣to be able to post a review, they don’t deserve any. they literally prepared the food out of sight and I only realised I got 2 cold small chicken for £5 when I got home and opened the bag, the worst service ever in all my experience living in Oxford food was absolutely poor and the worst ever. Never going back in that shop and can’t even recommend the place.

Very poor chicken. My chicken leg was hollow. Could not make it up, the coating was rock hard, by quite a way the worst takeaway I have had.
