Chosen Bun in Oxford

We stopped after a trip to the JR, it's been a few years since we last visited but the quality and taste didn't disappoint everything was cooked fresh and tasted amazing. I had the cheddar bacon which was amazing and my wife had the davincheesy blue which again was amazing. We also had the mac n cheese which were incredible they were massive as well. All in all another fantastic meal had from Chosen Bun thank you we will be sure to call in again.

My girlfriend and I ordered from there on deliveroo. I'll be honest: I was quite disappointed. My gf's spicy chicken wings and my spicy burger were WAY too spicy, painfully spicy, even by her standards and she's Indian. The chicken wings had a bit of a weird texture, as if they had been marinating in a curry for hours and as a result were kind of mushy. The chips were very soft through and through with zero crispiness outside. And I didn't like the beef's very strong taste, but that is more of a personal thing; some people would probably like it this way. I'd suggest making the spicy stuff more easily edible (or warning people that it is SUPER hot) and properly double or triple frying the chips at the right temperatures for a soft inside and a crispy outside if soft boiled-potato-like chips are a recurring problem. Sorry for the bad review.

Best burger I have had in a long time, very impressed with how quickly it was delivered, the packaging was smart and the food was hot. Milkshake was amazing too! Would order from here again and recommend 10/10!!!!

This store is making to have the worst customer experience ever. I did an order last sunday and after a while waiting someone called me saying that the delivery option was not available that day and the refund would happen in the day after due to permission reasons. I kept waiting 5 days and no refund happened. Yesterday I called back to the store and the manager told me that he couldn't do the refund and promised to send me the same order again today. I called today to confirm my address and after 2hours waiting nothing was delivered... I'm totally starving and having the worst experience of my life with delivery. The person who attended me today after 2hours waiting told me that got my address wrong and can't send the order again due to internal issues... Chosen Bun got great products, but the way that they manage the business is by far the worst I've ever seen...

Had two chicken burgers (one on a GF bun), chips and mac and cheese balls. The chicken itself and the mac and cheese balls were ok. The GF bun was awful and inedible. The chips were standard oven chips...

Second time I've ordered food recently and had to call them to ask where the food is. Super late, the food was cold and the shakes actively warm. I used to really like chosen bun but in general I feel like the quality has dropped significantly recently and I won't be returning anymore

A nice burger tastes good but very small for the price just under £10 for a very small chicken burger. About the same size as a mc donalds 99p burger.Talk about shrinkflation. Chips were cold and over peppery (i bought in shop so was hopping for hot)Not worth the money.

First time eating here and impressed. Good covid restrictions in place and A BANGING BURGER.If you think a wetherspoon burger is decent you NEED to try here. Absolutely amazing 👏

I had a room near this little restaurant during my stay in Oxford, so I decided to jump in and try their burgers. Definitely one of my best choice. From the outside you won’t tell that they are going to serve you such a great dish. The place is tiny and thought for take away more that eat in. You can decide among different beef, chicken and even vegan burgers. There are some variants for each type of meat and it’s easy to find something for yourself. I took the BBQ Eastwoody. It was delicious: the patty was perfectly cooked, the bread was crunchy and tasteful and you can feel al the good quality ingredients inside. They offered a deal with chips and a can. The chips were tasty, not the best I’ve tried, but you won’t regret them. The service was good and the personal kind. I picked it by myself so I don’t know how their delivery service works, anyway they will bring you whatever you order at your door.

Central location, very clean, and organized. Recommend the milk shakes, tasty and come in mason jars. Fries/chips tasty and thick cut. Burger tasty, fresh, and juicy.Lots of packaging for everything you order, seems very wasteful.
