Chozen Noodle in Oxford

good amount of food for a good price especially since it’s in the heart of oxford!! highly recommend if you are in a hurry as food prep is very fast and tastes amazing!!!

I’ve mostly gone for the chicken katsu with white rice. Every time I’ve had it, it’s been super tasty and moreish! It’s a small place, there’s room for about 10-12 people to sit down, they also do takeaway.The staff are friendly and welcoming :)

Absolutely terrible experience and will be reporting this place to trading standards as I cannot seem to find any head office details nor would the staff give me any.My partner and I went for a quick bite to eat - I ate a piece of chicken and it was fairly cold. Initially thought nothing of it as the sauce I had on I was cold so I thought it was the sauce. Bit into another piece and it was completely cold and uncooked so I told the member of staff, who then proceeded to put a meat thermometer in the chicken pieces that were on the hot plate. His words were "oops, it's 20 degrees too cold" at which point I politely asked for my money back. He messed around on the till and couldn't work it out so told his manager who came out and told us to come back on the following Monday - I said we can't as we don't live here and are leaving tomorrow, please could you give me the head office details and I will sort it with them. The manager said he would get it, went out the back and then didn't come back out, I had t ask the staff member to get him. He came back and accused me of eating the food and started checking the bins - even his colleague said I gave the food back. He refused to give any details for head office, refused to refund me and went out the back.I explained to the staff member that he cannot be serving chicken that is 20 DEGREES too cold and that it could make me or someone else really sick. He then took money out of the till and handed it to me and refused to talk further as he clearly realised he has dropped himself in it.Worst customer service I have ever experienced - avoid avoid avoid!!! I have tried to find head office info and can't find anything at all.

The chicken katsu curry is generous, and tastes great. Still looking for a place that has the extra veggies that compliment the dish though.

This place just hits the spot for me. It's not that easy to find affordable, authentic tasting, delicious Asian food as a traveller coming from Asia. The staff were warm and friendly and even though it was ten minutes before opening time they tried to serve me when they knew I had a train to catch. I tried chicken Katsu, red and green curry and they were all good! Fuss free, convenient, flavourful, filling and hot food. Thumbs up!

Great place to eat Asian food close to Train and Bus station. I had the Katsu curry. Large portion with tasty gravy. My friend had the sushi which she really enjoyed. Nice friendly staff and great value
