Gave me food poisoning, very old meat, smelt rotten and the mac and cheese was clearly made weeks before as was stodgey sort of like a rubber cube, everthing was coated in grease and fat, and I noticed they laughed at me as they handed it over

Delicious, authentic, and massive portions. The service was warm and generous- they opened up early when we knocked on their door, following our noses towards the delicious smells. The ackee and salt fish was amazing- spicy and flavourful, and my husband’s jerk chicken was excellent. And the dumplings were to die for. The restaurant is nice, clean, and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely lunch here with kids and friends. Fantastic food, super friendly staff and excellent atmosphere! We will certainly come back - or just collect and eat home if we are busy. Very happy that we found this place.

I have never eaten such a disgusting meal in all my life. I ate 3 mouthfuls and suffered a severe bout of stomach issues lasting 4+ days. Quite possibly food poisoning. I ordered curry goat and a side of mac & cheese. The rice and peas were thick with grease the curry goat meat was sinewy and full of stringy fat. The Mac & cheese was very odd and came in stodgy slices The slaw was simply shredded veg coated in meat fat. I was very disappointed as I heard commies was good. I

Couldn't believe how wonderful it was. We had oxtail, fried chicken and goat curry and all were completely delicious. Very generous portions and excellent price too.

Ordered Jerk Chicken and dumplings, food was tasty, fresh and quick. Nice restaurant with good vibes.

Really fresh and delicious food! 😋🍽️🇯🇲The pepper stake was packed with flavour and the meat was tender. The rice with beans was delicious and not overcooked, just on point. And the chicken BBQ was the best! Staff was friendly and approachable. Atmosphere was OK. The place is a bit small but clean and well looked after. They do take away.

The service was wonderful, I saw that one customer couldn't decide so the customer was given a sample. I ordered the two meals; one with oxtail and pepper steak. The meal came with rice & rice, salad, and mac & cheese. I got a side portion of chicken with mac & cheese. Plus a Guinness punch. The food was great as per usual. The food was cooked well, there was flavour in every bite. You also get good value for your money. I wasn't able to eat half of it so I ate the rest the next day and it reheated well. Social distancing and sanitizing were procedures in place. The only downside is that the takeaway boxes were styrofoam. I realised that heat from the good wrapped the styrofoam a bit. It would be a good recommendation. Other than that I would try again.

In or take-home. Main dishes ,here goat curry and chicken jerk, are really well cooked and a good deal. Starters, though tasty, a bit pricey. Nice and fun staff. Strange location but the restaurant is really cool, the decoration of the walls is amazing!
