Comptoir Libanais is a great find in Oxford, amongst what appears to be, an otherwise mediocre choice of restaurants in the renowned University Town. This restaurant checks all the right boxes. We had the Marinated Chicken Taouk, the Lamb Burger along with the Mira(a mint cooler). The taste was sublime, to say the least and the meat was cooked to perfection. The interiors of this place is a little overdone to be honest! But we were so in love with the food that we gladly overlooked that aspect! We are so happy to find this place in Oxford and hope to visit there regularly, coz the food was amazing. All in all, Comptoir Libanais is every foodie's paradise and it is a must visit for those in Oxford.

Amazing experience. Despite being a chain, the treatment is very friendly and you feel you're taken good care of. They were a bit slow to take our order (busy time, so it's understandable) but then food was served super fast. Highly recommend the falafel wrap which is so filling, also the traditional mint tea. Wouldn't recommend the "empanadas" with cheese and mint, flavour was very bland. Decoration is amazing and they even sell the items in exhibition. We were asked for allergies. Really nice atmosphere.

A disgrace to Lebanese cuisine! Missing most of the popular Lebanese mezze and main dishes. All the food we ordered was bland. Tabbouleh was soggy and wilted. Juices were not fresh. The zaatar and cheese manou’sha has nothing to do with manou’sha; was more a cheese pie with a tiny sprinkle of zaatar and overpowering mint. And what really did not add up is having tajines on a Lebanese cuisine menu! Definitely overpriced for this very poor quality. The only good thing about this place is the decorations. The service was okay.

Tried this out yesterday, had a lovely chicken wrap and cocktail drink. Love the decor in this place, well worth a visit!

Amazing. This was our first time in Oxford and we loved this restaurant. Food came fast, reasonable price, tasty, desserts were very tasty too. Will definitely come here again next time.

The restaurant is massive. Loved the decor around, very instagram friendly. The food was very good.Highly recommend the Lebanese style hot chocolate, Hoummos, lamb and Halloumi burger. We ordered a plate of fries to share until our main course arrived and the fries were served with Toum, a garlic yoghurt sauce which tasted so good. The neighboring tables ordered the cheesecake and wraps which looked large and quite enticing. Portion sizes are large. The service was excellent, really helpful with recommendations. One of my friends wasn't too hungry and our waitress told her which menu items were quite large vs something small that she could snack on. Food didn't take too long to arrive on our table. They do serve alcoholic drinks. Accept cash & card/contactless payment. Reasonably priced, wasn't too expensive.

Best places in Oxford for Lebanese food. Spacious restaurant. Lots of seating. Courteous staff. I love the mezze platter. Its vegan and very filling! The lentil soup is delicious and the babaganauj is awesome. The pita bread could be softer though.

Nice design. Their lebanese bread is really bad (dry, tasteless, not home made), but everything else was very good. I would suggest doing your own bread, that makes the difference.

Although food was tasty, we had to wait a while for service. We thought after a while that we had to order through the app so we just did it all online. We wanted to try a new menu item and they had got that order wrong twice. They even said that the system says something else and they could not do anything about it and so we never actually got to try it. Other than that, the prices are a little high than what I would normally pay for Lebanese food. The interior, however, was very beautiful.
