Duke Of Cambridge in Oxford

Maybe not the greatest design of a cocktail bar, but the quality of drinks and service definitely gets it to 5*! Worth visiting when in Oxford if you are up for few old-fashions!

Imagine silky smooth nectar pouring down from the stratosphere like felix baumgartner with an aborted parachute directly into your gullet. The cocktail quality raises the intensity.Visited pre-Covid: alone, sitting, in a booth, spread out, and got absolutely thrashed like a lapsed AA member. The experience was sublime. Before you judge, try it yourself.Needless to say, the vid horrors have not wrecked the foundations and the cocktails are still solid as the Rock’s biceps.Never seen so much care and attention to detail around a happy hour drink. I may be used to London prices, but if this was near me I’d be a casual alcoholic.

DofC has always been a must stop into bar for when drinking in Oxford. Great drinks, good service with a smile. Sadly the atmosphere was lacking. The lights were on full blast and it felt a little like sitting under a car with its main beams on. Stayed for only one as it was lacking any real reasons to stay for more.

Seems to have just changed its sign and colour scheme over lockdown to dark green.Usually pretty busy and is new-ish so a long bar with lots of comfy chairs around round tables.Cocktails are OK - there are better ones in Jericho; but a good city bar.

Nice bar, doesn't really get busy till 1030. Seems to be for over 30s atmosphere. Cocktails and good beer but not a pub more high class. If u do like your beer it on sell 2/3 pints. Good booths for large groups and bars stools. Nice modern decor

If accidentally you can not drink alcohol today like me, bloody shame is a good choice! Choose customize whatever spicy level you want, and it will make it! Spicy and fresh, love it! Staff there super friendly also!

really nice place to have a drink or two, or three, or four, or well you know what i mean. staff was extremely helpful and helped us to choose a good drink and sorted me out with some great seats. would definitely visit The Duke again when i come to this city

Lovely pub, lovely crowd and drinks on menu. It's an above average pub, typical British pub with decent drinks of the offer at regular prices.come here for cocktails not regular lagers

Oxford's long time No 1 cocktail bar. Very popular, great service. You won't always get a table but the drinks are a great distraction
