On Monday this week (3 days ago), I encountered a severe instance of racism at this place. I see that another reviewer also witnessed the event (see other 1-star review from 3 days ago). Her description of the events is accurate. The person serving food made explicitly racist comments towards an Asian woman who was struggling to pay with her card, including telling her to return to 'where she was from' until she 'learns how to live in this country' (paraphrased). When I challenged the person making the racist comments, he ran out of the truck right up to me and challenged me to a fight. I told him I was not interested and walked away.I would highly recommend boycotting this store and never eating here. A horrific experience that I never want to witness again.EDIT 1: Thanks to the owner for the response below and the action taken on this matter.EDIT 2 (08/04/22): I found out today that the owner’s statement - that they had fired the employee responsible for this incidence of severe racism - was untruthful. The racist employee is still working at Falafel House - I saw him there today. I am shocked beyond words that the owner not only tolerates this racism, but actively lied about dealing with it so as to improve the vendor’s reputation without dealing with the employee. I stick with my original suggestion: boycott this store and never eat there again.

Absolutely fantastic I used to have it everyday when I was in Oxford, better than what you get in Dubai miss it so much!! Hopefully I will come again

I just had the most shocking experience! The girl in front of me was having trouble with the tapping function of her card, and when inserting it - forgot her pin and needed a minute to check the code. The server screamed at her “are you stupid” “go away and learn how to live in this country and then come back”… shocked she said he it’s okay I don’t want it anymore and he scrunched up the falafel wrap and through it on the floor!!! All of us left immediately in horror - do not support this business if you can help it!

Absolutely phenomenal food and staff, i genuinely look forward to coming to this place and have told many of my friends who have visited and are as enthusiastic about it as i am

Absolutely lovely place, great people and very authentic Falafel for a good price. One of the few ones I had in the UK so far. 100% recommended. Tiny critique: takeaway packaging could be more sustainable (e.g wood/bio-degradable instead of plastique).Still, overall a solid 5/5.

Well... Lockdown 3, whole market square is closed, but not this place. If you want one of the best wraps in town for lunch, come to Falafel House. Guys will do it in front of you freshly made. I just can’t get enough of Lamb Shawarma 😋 legends. Keep it open guys
