Franco Manca Oxford in Oxford

Really good pizza and very friendly staff. The foods value for money really surprised me, so if you're looking for cheap yet amazing Italian food, here is your go to!

The customer service is atrocious. They sat me down under a ventilator that they knew drips water, and I told 2 members of staff, they said they knew about the issue and didn't respond when I asked them why they sat us at that table knowing there was a problem, and there were plenty of other tables spare. They also made no effort to ask how the meal was and whether we wanted anything else after we finished the main course. I remember when I tried Franco Manca years ago in Brixton Market, and it was fab. Now, years later, I have tried it and will not go back again. If you want to be respected as a customer, don't go there.

This restaurant does not take bookings - which means you have to turn up, write down your name and wait outside until your name is called. So on Saturday, we stood outside in the rain for 15 minutes waiting to get a seat. Please introduce bookings, or a call back system so we don't have to wait outside the entire time.The food was okay - the real kicker was that I asked for the anchovies to be replaced by vegan mince. However, when we got the bill, I noticed I was charged extra for the mince. I asked the waiter why I was charged for the substitution and he told me because they consider anchovies a vegetable and the vegan mince a meat. I'm sorry, what? That logic does not make any sense. To add insult to injury, they added the optional service charge to our payment without asking us first, and we both felt too embarrassed to ask them to remove it.Left feeling like we'd been scammed. Used to be a great restaurant but has gone downhill. Cannot fault server, he was very friendly.

Really loved it. Very affordable. Pizzas start from 5.90. Almost all pizzas are below 10 pounds. Enormous pizzas. Delicious and filling. Excellent location. Great ambience, good service. Friendly staff.I am definitely going back.

Best pizza I have ever had.

Went for a quick bite to eat with my best pal. The waitress was super nice and delivered amazing customer service even though it was pretty busy which is to be expected on a weekend in Oxford. The sourdough pizza's are to die for not to mention their lemon sorbet makes the perfect palette cleanser! Definitely will be returning here next time I'm in Oxford 🍕🧡

I'd previously eaten at a couple Franco Manca restaurants in London, & wasn't disappointed, so thought I'd try the Oxford branch.It's near New Theatre & there's absolutely shed loads of competition, so they've got to be the best.They were really busy so we had a bit of a wait, but it was well worth it.The pizzas are just the best ever & the staff were friendly & helpful too.Thanks guys - see you again soon.

Food was delicious and reasonably priced, unfortunately the sevice was a little slow but the manager did apologise and took a round of drinks off our bill so can't complain!

Franco Manca’s pizzas are, I think, currently the best of the chain restaurant offerings. The quality also seems to be consistent from one branch to the next. The only differential is the comfort and ambience of the particular restaurant and friendliness of the staff. The Oxford branch is big and bright and spacious and they have resisted cramming in too many tables. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and professional.
