Frankie & Bennys in Oxford

I ate here with 2 friends before an Oxford game. The place was packed, as was the bar. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, we got our drinks and our food taken before I could even use the app and it all came very quickly.The food was good and the service was super friendly and the team were on great form. They were even able to celebrate 3 customers birthdays in some style despite being very busy.

I wasn't expecting much but how surprised was I?Steak, fries, sauce and a bottle of Doom Bar! EXCELLENT ☺️Good quality meet perfectly cooked - decent generic venue - excellent staff.I'm happy 😁 BIG thanks to everyone who cooked and served me 👍

Pretty disappointing. Child's meal had ridiculously small portion of fish, and we had to ask for the salad that was supposed to come with it. Pasta dish came with the cajun sauce that we'd said we didn't want. Had to ask 3 times for ketchup and mayo. Service was pretty slow even though place was far from full. On the plus side, burger was quite good, and music volume was fine, and good decor and atmosphere.

Not really been in a Frankie and Benny’s before. Staff were very attentive and the place was busy. Only issue was the automatically applied 10% service charge on a £230 bill. I don’t mind tipping but I’d like to be given the choice and would rather independently tip the waiter / waitress who serviced our table

If you have Jake serving you then you've got a great example of a helpful and energetic waiter. The food is good too. The only downside was the table wasn't great for 8 adults and 2 children.

Really enjoyed our lunch there today. Good music and good service. Quickly seated, clean table. We were looked after by Coco, they were amazing! Perfect service: attentive, funny, knows the menu, able to have a laugh, we were really happy with their service. Food was fresh and piping hot. Really enjoyed our cocktails and food. Happy to go again, recommend!

Excellent environment, friendly service, and good food at an affordable price. Though the restaurant was busy, my friend and I were quickly seated and our order was taken promptly after being seated. Additionally, our delightful server, Maja, offered a helpful and friendly service. She had provided great advice on what to order and delivered our food quickly, despite how busy it was. Overall she was extremely accommodating. I would happily come back.

Wonderful staff and great food. We tried the meatballs, the Italian hot pizza and a burger, which were all fabulous. We couldn't decide between the burger and the pizza, and chose the burger in the end, to which the waiter brought out the pizza too and said it's on the house, just so we could try it! We left full and very happy. Otherwise, we were made to feel very welcome by everyone, all the staff was smiling at us whenever they passed us and asking if we were okay. It felt lovely to be so looked after by the waiters there!And many thanks to the kitchen for the wonderful food (we're already planning our next visit, and we actually mention the meatballs at least once a week when thinking about where to eat), the lovely presentation and the beautifully clean plates and cutlery!Wish you could give more than 5 stars. The restaurant was busy at the time we arrived but the welcoming staff found a sit for us in a couple of seconds. The food was very good but the portions were a bit smaller than expected, however the taste was great. Special greetings to the waiting staff Shakira who was very friendly and attentive. Keep the hard work 👍

This Restaurant by Vue Cinema complex offers value for money pre-football or pre-film viewing meal, drink or snack. Service can be busy at peak times but always friendly and smily.Worth getting the App for offers. Some additional Festive dishes (like Turkey Cranberry pizza & Camembert Cranberry Burger) and delicious Mocktails offered at Christmas time worth trying too.Latest additions to the menu tried recently like Dirty Dog and Apple Pie with ice cream and warm custard. My stomach was pretty full and greatly satisfied afterwards also because prices still reasonable when everything this Summer is costing more or unavailable.The manager and staff do their utmost to ensure an enjoyable dining experience.
