Bagels and ice cream! What more could you want in life?! Friendly and helpful staff? They have that too! Win win! Definitely a place to visit if you need to scratch that hunger itch

Absolutely brilliant cute place for ice cream, cakes, breakfasts or even a bagel. Such a wide exciting selection of classic and slightly less traditional flavours. The hot chocolate is also delicious!Very sweet interior design and friendly atmosphere. There is more seating downstairs.Definitely recommend for breakfast, brunch snack or just a hot chocolate!

What happened to the good old days of ringing in your birthday with a midnight G&Ds? So many times I’ve wanted to come here for ice cream only to find the parlour closed. Please, please consider returning to your pre-covid opening hours. - With love and gratitude.

"Make sure you visit G & D's!" was probably the most common refrain you'd hear from OSAP alums before visiting Oxford. At least, those of them from Mississippi State always said this -- perhaps because, as a major AG school, many of us take the production of good ice cream very seriously. We're not called a cow college for nothing. :)G & D's, of course, refers to George and Davis. And, indeed, they have very, very good ice cream. I tend to keep it simple with chocolate, and theirs was always stellar. They have a couple locations around town so you can pick the one most convenient to you. It's a very popular place with a loyal following of students, residents, and tourists alike, and definitely worth giving a try.

Amazingly tasty freshly made waffle sundae. Good range of ice cream flavours. However, the server seemed very grumpy.

The staff is super friendly but clearly too few; lineups are way too long although the desserts are incredible and worth it. The lemon and citrus sorbet was a super nice and light recommendation. The coffee is just average. Can’t have it all!

A+ for the ice cream, but a C- for the service! We had to wait 40 minutes in the line to get our ice cream since there were only one person working the line. Aside from that, the ice cream was amazingly fresh and delicious. Its not as sweet, but has that creamy goodness taste full of flavor. One thing to remember, it is ice cream and not Gelato, therefore, please be cognizant of eating the creamy goodness since it will taste and feel different from a Gelato.

Very nice ice cream in a pleasant setting.I had the after midnight (mint chocolate) after tasting a few of the options. Other flavours tried by member of my family included chocolate, hazelnut and daim bar crunch. The ice cream was very "creamy" but perhaps lacked the intensity of flavour that I would have wanted. However I enjoy the visit and would recommend it to other who are in the area to try their ice cream.

A fantastic place to visit if you are looking for something sweet but also for a snack. They offer a good range of choice, from the bagels and breakfast dishes to the desserts and ice creams. The place is not too big but you will find some seats and tables to eat in. The staff is kind and ready to full-fill your wants. I took the “cookie monster” that is an ice cream (I picked the oreo flavoured one) between two big warm cookies dessert. Absolutely fantastic. Both the cookies and the ice cream were truly delicious. I will probably jump in again if I would pass in front of the shop, because I am curious about all the other stuffs they are offering. A very positive and remarkable note must be done about the cleaning of all the local. Tables, chairs, floor and especially bathroom were tidy and shiny. Nice job! The position is not so close to the city centre, but with a ten minutes walk from there you will be able to reach the shop. It is worth the diversion from the city tour, I promise.

Had a lovely Brownie Sundae with Super Chocolate Ice cream.I've been coming to G&Ds for years. Their ice creams are without question the best in Oxford.Don't be afraid to ask to try a seemingly wacky flavour, you could be pleasantly surprised.
