Very tasty burgers and the onion rings were also very good! I had the chicken pesto burger.

Visiting Son at Uni and in an attempt to get out of the rain, we popped in for a late lunch. Had no idea what to expect, but were blown away.Service was efficient and very friendly. The burger was the best i have ever had and both my Sons agreed with me. I am looking for a branch on the South coast now, we will 100% be visiting again.

GBK is a burger chain in the UK. We stumbled upon a lot of them during our time there, but only tried this one out.As the name implies, this is a burger joint! But you can also get some chicken products and fancy milkshakes.The insides seem to always be nicely decorated if you like modern style decor, which I do. They can accommodate large parties fairly easily.Personally, I remember my burger being kind of dry and not tasting super spectacular. That being said, I enjoyed their skinny fries and especially enjoyed the boozy milkshake I tried. They have a pretty large selection of beer and spirits, so if you're looking to have a drink with pals, this is a solid enough option.

Good service, welcoming staff, original Menu, good choice of music, and prices within normal range for a decent burger. Had a good experience there and will be back on my next trip to Oxford ^^

Went late at night and the service was pretty quick. The staff seemed friendly and the food was really good. I had the taxi driver beef burger and it was so huge but delicious. The price is decent for a place that does good burgers so it’s definitely not on the cheapest side. The chicken is halal here as well so accommodates to quite a bit of people.

Best. Burgers. In the UK! And chicken too! And vegan burgers too! No, seriously! You can't go wrong with anything you order here. Top marks for the Loaded Burger. I mean, who knew slapping some bourbon BBQ brisket on top of a burger with some crispy onions was going to be so delicious? Absolutely amazing! My wife loved her "naked" chicken. Our daughter's favorite is the Classic Vegan burger. And our SIL always orders the the GBK Cheese & Bacon burger. I also recommend the tater tots... especially the Black Garlic tots. And don't forget to order yourself a shake. My favorite is the Flaked Chocolate & Bourbon shake. We found the service to be friendly, helpful, and attentive. And ordering is easy with their app! We love GBK....

First time at GBK after hearing positive things from a few friends. And I must say they didn't disappoint. Although authentically the food does leave you wanting a but more, flavour wise the meal was very good. But as good as the food was the customer service was excellent, none more so than the delightful manager "ola" who was thoughtful and very helpful especially when offering suggestions and helping us find alternatives on the menu for halal options. Will return for sure!

Very delicious burgers and they are worth the price you pay. From beef to chicken burgers or a mixture of both. You can fully customise your burger to your taste. Highly recommend and try the milkshakes too 😋.

The ultimate burger champion in Oxford - GBK never disappoints.From their sides, try the truffle cheese fried, the onion rings, or truffle cheese tater tots - the menu has been largely expanded in the past month so be sure to keep your eyes out for new starters options.I usually go for their beef burgers (not a fan of chicken burgers personally, but that’s not to say theirs are bad) and would especially recommend: The Blue Cheese, The RocketMan and the Mighty. The Mighty features two burger patties so it’s a good choice if you’re feeling extra hungry and in need of protein, but in normal conditions I always find it to be a bit too much. Recently I’ve also tried their Loaded burger - it was delicious, though I found the addition of extra beef with BBQ sauce a bit unusual.If you are eating in it really pays off to get their Fizz drink which is refillable while you’re there and a very refreshing addition to the meal. Best one is the Strawberry Elderflower, though the classic Lemonade is not bad too (do not make the mistake of going for the Vanilla Passion Fruit, it tastes very artificial).Between eating in and take away I would always go for eating in - when getting the food for takeout somehow the bottom burger bun always becomes overly soggy from all the juices and while some people like this I frankly find it disgusting.Be sure to make use of their student discount or the limited offer Twice as Nice deal (2 burgers and 2 fries for £20)!The staff is delightful over the phone and in person, special shoutout to Deborah from the George Street store who always takes extra care with the orders ❤️Overall a great place for the classic burger and fries meal, definitely among the top in Oxford, and you can get a big meal for a good price if you do the student discount.

Haven’t reviewed anywhere in a while and what a great place to get back into Google Maps reviews.Paid £27 for 2 burgers 🍔 + 2 fries 🍟 + pint + half pint of San Miguel. Good deal, central oxford.Must give a shout-out to our waiter who was top class. Great customer service and attentive. Fast service, clean tables and yummy food. I must say the skinny fries are great, don’t find fries like these.Would recommend and will be back.Thank you GBK
