Decent, wish the portions were slightly bigger for what we paid though

Excellent food !The Greek Taverna on the Cowley Road is a great place. We had our dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. I would definitely recommend the shrimps and patates yahni as starter. For main course, we ordered Kleftiko (slow cooked lamb), Paidakia (lamb), Kotopoulo Souvlaki and Gimesa. All the dishes were fantastic. The service was slightly slow and took longer, but the food was really fresh and tasty.Definitely recommend.

Quick trip to Oxford. Just found this restaurant by chance. No booking lucky to get a table. Well, glad we did. Food was excellent with a good choice. Pricing was certainly reasonable considering the excellent quality of food. Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic food and service. Will write a full and detailed review on TripAdvisor. I don't live in Oxford however this was a lovely finale to a very successful weekend.

This place is absolutely amazing. Inside nothing to shout about but the food is incredibly good!! Worth a visit anytime your in the area. Well priced and lovely beer 🍻

Me and my friend had an impromptu dinner at this lovely Greek restaurant in Cowley and we loved every aspect of it, from the delicious food to the lovely as well as attentive staff. I am a yogurt lover and if you are too make sure to try their Greek yogurt as it is absolutely divine! We will for sure go back soon.

Good overall experience, however nothing special really. Whereas the food was of a decent quality, neither the menu nor dishes impressed us on our recent visit. Fish and seafood were good and fresh but lacking flavour a bit, would also like to see more main course options. Meze was presented with a nice variety and cooked well, although it's hard to say it was somewhat surprisingly delicious. The atmosphere is quiet and friendly, with national songs playing in the background, felt like in a small Greek village.Prices were just ok, maybe slightly higher than we expected -- easily justified by fresh ingredients and the situation in the area. To give some understanding, 5-8 per meze and 12-17 for the main course. Wanted to wish all the best to this place, I really hope it could get to the next level.
