Hit the right spot!Lovely atmosphere pub, with good basic foods (pizza, fish and chips, burgers etc.).Bar and waiting staff were super friendly, the food came quickly and was good!We asked for some chilly oil to go on the pizza and the chef quickly made some from real chillies in no time. They clearly want their customers to be satisfied (which we can't say about the pub we came from, where they didn't even want to serve us a bowl of chips).Keep it up, I'll be back! Thanks

We booked a table here for a Mother’s Day Sunday lunch and I wasn’t impressed with the place. No where to park on site so we had to struggle to find a place within walking distance, the table we were given to sit at was cramped and we had minimal space, drinks took forever to get to us, the roast dinner was very overpriced for what we got. I had half a chicken, two roast potatoes, one slice of carrot, one slice of parsnip, a tiny portion of cabbage, and one Yorkshire pudding. I was shocked that no other veg was given. Had to ask for service half way through the meal. Nothing special whatsoever!

Amazing place for dogs. Book bar area and not restaurant if you have a dog. We asked for some bones and they gave us a bowl full of pigs in blankets. Best Sunday roast my partner and I have ever had in England.

I was so disappointed by my last visit at the Jacob's inn. This pub has been a favorite for years and I hadn't been for a couple years (COVID,etc). Maybe the owners have changed but the roast was really poor quality, no yorkshire pudding, no parsnips, roast potatoes had probably been done earlier in the day as they were really dry, the beef was tough and my friend couldn't eat his porc. The service was pretty bad, my friend had to stand up to the bar twice to ask for our drinks and if we could order.Only reason why I put 2 stars is because I used to love this place and they also gave us a discount on the bill as we were so disappointed with our meal.

It’s always best practice to read reviews before diving in. I can say hand on heart that my taste buds celebrated, did back flips and cartwheels. The chicken pie, mash potatoes and gravy are a winner. The attentive service matched the meal!!!

Great food and a few vegan options. Very friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Drinks a little pricey and £2.50 for soda is a bit of a rip

Thus Inn definitely passes the vibe check 🏽. All staff are very friendly and approachable. The food is great quality for the amount you pay for. I asked an employee if he could hold my helmet while I go for a walk and he was chill about it. The music and atmosphere is so relaxing and the goats and chickens are the most cutest thing I've ever seen 😅. Need to come back for the vibes. Thank you

We had a nice meal here. There is a nice atmosphere inside with all different antique items placed around the pub. The food itself was well presented. The Caesar Salad was particularly large and the Guinea Fowel was tasty. Service was quick and we didn't have to wait long for our food at all. The staff were courteous and polite too. Two things I would mention are the Eton Mess could have had more strawberries on it. Also a service charge of 12.5% was automatically added to the bill for four people. We did tip, but would like to choose our own amount.

Absolutely fabulous Sunday lunch the said starter was good and crispy the lamb with roast potatoes, cabbage, parsnips and roast carrots and then an excellent Yorkshire pudding (as a Yorkshireman it does pain me to say it was better than many I have had in Yorkshire). The desert was lemon Tarte it was great with raspberries and vanilla ice cream, all in all a great meal and I would recommend to anyone.

I usually love all food - but the food here was gross. First of all I am a vegetarian and I asked for a veggie burger but with no bun as I am gluten free, I asked if they could do a side salad instead. I got a burger with no bun and chips - the burger tasted awful I had to send it back… the next thing I tried was also awful it had an old oil taste. The staff were all having lunch when we finished and it took ages to pay.Honestly I would never go back, expensive and awful!
