Great place, looks really nice, food was good, dessert was amazing, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Visited on Monday but I was very let down. A very quiet and inattentive entrance and welcoming by the staff. The waitress who served us was very awkward and was not very clear on what she was saying - I think training is needed. The food took a very long time to come and when it did arrive I was very disappointed, the food was cold, it had obviously been sat around for a while and was sickly, I had high expectations for this restaurant but I wonβt be going again.

Great bartenders, very fun. We really enjoyed our cocktails here.

Decor was nice, but staff were unresponsive and often on their phones. Waited a very long time for food, which was burnt to the point it was practically inedible as it was so hard.

Great service, good food. Very accommodating for our large group. Portions were large, food tasty.

Wonderful full English breakfast with coffee and pastries. The staff was very friendly. The space is lovely. Perfect place for a solo cup of coffee, a date, or a family meal. I really enjoyed it here.

We called in here Saturday , just the off chance to walk past and fancied a drink and some nibbles . We arrived to empty room should of rang alarm bells π. The atmosphere was dull and the service from the girl that served us was awful (definitely training is needed) π. We ordered a pizza π and shared platter , pizza was swimming in grese and the sharring platter was cold . The decor would be great but definitely need attention, the toilets need attention for sure .

Three stars is describing just the mix I experienced here.Pro: The interior is nice with the bee'Keepers' theme all around in the form of drawings on the wall and honeycomb shapes on the wall. Interior felt like a plus.Con: We went for cocktails and were let down a little. In terms of equipment they were well prepared. Barkeeper pre-chilled the glassware with ice and so on. However the quality of the final cocktails wasn't nice. Mostly sweet without a good balance of flavors. Their 'Mai Tai' would probably make all the tiki people around faint. With a poorly cut, sad lemon slice to top it all up.In total good atmosphere but poor drinks.

The food was good but our server was very rude to us and even spoke rudely of other customers to us. I can only assume it was due to staff shortages that they were unable to make any cocktails. We were left waiting for a long time for our server to come back to us after our mains and we tried to order dessert only to be told they had closed the kitchen at 9:30 (our booking was for 8pm). They originally couldn't find our booking but did very quickly arrange a table for the 5 of us but was later told off for not mentioning on the booking that one of our guests couldn't have gluten despite the menu having some gluten free options, the only gluten free mains were salads so we asked if a burger could be served without the bun which the chef kindly arranged but cheese was missing off 2 of the burgers ordered by the group.

If the Marco Pierre Restaurant has closed, this is an outdated review. I have not been to this 'Keepers'.It was my partner and I's 3 year anniversary, and as a last minute (ugh I know) booking, we decided to give this restaurant a go as its one of the last places we haven't been in Oxford. What a great decision that was! I had put a request on the booking saying it was our anniversary and to place us as far away from kids (not a children person) and they put us in a gorgeous little corner of the room and put little candles and felt hearts on the table, absolutely lovely. Our waitress was Vera was was so nice and wonderful to us. She was lovely and professional and chatty, but not too much to be over the top. The menu inside was slightly different to the one online but there was no hassle in getting the food that I had wanted. Our food was outstanding and even for a Friday the wait times were quick and not at all awkward. What's even better is that there was a 20% discount that we didn't know about AND we had a dessert for free. Honestly you can't go wrong when someone goes above and beyond to help make memories. We'll always remember this restaurant and will endeavour to go to more branches in Oxford and beyond!
