We popped in here after a gig at the 02.We had an absolutely fantastic meal. Great Poppadums and pickle tray. The starters of Onion Bhaji and Keema Samosa were superb. Not greasy in the slightest. Our curry and breads were both very good. We had a Vegetable curry and. Chicken Madras. The level of spice was just right. It's a shame we don't live closer, we would be regulars!

Terrible experience i had with this restaurant we ordered food and they added still water worth £4? Really ?? Later we asked them to take that out and give us tap water instead so the waiter said i added that already to the billThe food was not on the table yet and he already charged the bill!! The customer is so pathetic that they just take away the plates without even asking. feels like we have to hold the plates tight so that they wont take it away ! Lol anyways other than that the food horrible taste they have such nice ambience which attracts the customers but the food and the service was horrible af ! Really waste of money never ever go here if you are actually craving Indian food. Just cook and eat thats more worth than going here ! Never going again 😂

Went for the Sunday buffet yesterday. for £11 its a bargain! Salad, starters, rice naan, veg curry lamb curry few different chicken curries. All very tasty, particularly the lamb karahi, and its a buffet! I think in Oxford you'd do well to have just 1 curry and rice for £11 so to have all the different stuff for that price is a great deal

So we came here for my dads birthday. There are kids working at the bar?! Serving. Terrible service. They don’t even acknowledge you. Not surprised as they are literally kids. Went for the buffet which was COLD the rice was hard. Honestly probably the worst India I have eaten. Naan was like a popadom. Then to top of our experience.. my partner got locked in the toilets for 20 MINUTES. The owner was no where so you had his kids trying to open it with a knife - they said ‘this always happens’ umm maybe fix it or make it out of order? So after getting him out the owner came and instead of apologising - laughs at my boyfriend. Ask us if we want drinks (we assume they are complimentary as a kind gesture) instead we wait 15 minutes for tea because the kids are just standing there talking. And we get charged - FOR THE WHOLE MEAL? The whole things. No discounts at all. I work in customer service and if that happened I would not be charging the customers for there meal and be throwing in a free dessert or something?! Honestly I’m shocked. Probably the worst experience we’ve ever had at an Indian restaurant. We normally feel looked after. Let’s me honest they arn’t cheap either. I’m shocked. Will never return as long as it’s ran by the same people and chefs.I feel sorry for the owners kids that are probably forced to work there. Hopefully they are getting paid to deal with a poorly ran establishment like this.

Been past this place many times and I thought it's about time I tried it out 🙏 Me and a friend went for a meal and no complaints what so ever 🙃. The decor was nice as well as the layout. When the food arrived it looked tasty 😋 and it was. Everything was well cooked with the right amount of flavours and spice 👍 Service was excellent and staff were friendly 👌 Will differently come here again, why not especially when it's in my home city 😀.

Ordered a vindaloo. Was swimming in oil and had no spice. Might as well have been a lamb stew. Will never order again.

This place used to be aimed at a slightly more upmarket / special occasion market (white tablecloths etc). We went for a birthday meal and found it has changed a lot. It now fairly standard in fact it pretty much just a room to eat a takeaway in. Deliveroo drivers coming in and out all the time and not enough staff to handle the Saturday night rush. We had been there an hour and half before our starters arrived and had to continually prompt the (very nice but over-run) staff for service. Food was good but it's not offering much of a restaurant experience.

We were served wrong course different from what we ordered. And being very slow in serving food. We didn't have extra time to wait again so we had to eat the wrong food. Besides, the server seems unclear about their offers and caused a lot of unpleasant moments for this dining experience. Curries taste was poor as well. Do not recommend.

Some of the reviews bemuse me - were you in the right place? The restaurant is clean and tidy, the staff friendly and welcoming and the food is great. 4 of us just had a very reasonably priced and lovely meal here. And a really nice chat with the boss at the end. Don't hesitate - eat here!

Terrible service and food!I should’ve taken the fact that the entire restaurant was empty as a clear warning that this place was not going to be good. However, we proceeded. The food was incredibly bland, with the chicken being bland and the breads being somewhat sweet. Really disappointing considering we repeatedly asked the waiter to make our food spicy. 1/5 for food. The service was also very poor, from the waiter being slightly rude to the amount of time we had to wait to get our table cleaned and receive or check. 2/5 for service. This place is also VERY overpriced! Up to £70 spent for 3 people to have dinner. Not worth it at all.
