Mamma Mia Pizzeria in Oxford

This is a really lovely place. Friendly welcome, excellent food and nice atmosphere. Will happily visit here again.

Very disappointed - I ordered a Margherita pizza to take away. Crust had no colour or char, but was incredibly dry, almost like a cracker. Very little tomato base and very sparse mozzarella.I hope this was an anomaly, but I personally won't be ordering again.

The pizza at Mama Mia in Jericho is quite different compared to many other pizzerias in the town. The pizzas here have very thin crust and are mild. Those who prefer their pizza more cheesy or spicy may not enjoy the pizzas here, but me and my wife enjoyed it thoroughly. They also have a special daily menu which is worth trying. The service is quick, but at times very slow (especially during peak hours).

Tricked us into buying more wine. We were 7 people and ordered two bottles, you would expect the waitress would be able to size the glasses to use the two bottles (or less), instead she poured ENORMOUS glasses and after 5 glasses she asked if she should get another one. Instead of pushing for clients to spend even more money, you should already be grateful for having a party of 7 getting wine, main and dessert. I don't recommend anyone else to go there.

First time visiting here I normally use their other Pizzeria in South Parade Summertown. Lovely meal super service very busy certainly recommend booking, speaks for its self then.

There was a constant stream of motorbike collection people in full motorbike gear and helmets loitering around the restaurant tables. They were chatting amongst themselves or with the staff and not one had a mask on. Right where people are eating, it completely spoiled the atmosphere. Sometimes there were 3 of them just standing in the restaurant waiting for collections, it was a total shambles. You need to insist they wait outside like others do. or just become a takeaway, but you need to decide. It was a really disappointing meal as previous visits have been good.

We had lunch at Mamma Mia and enjoyed our experience. We tried their bruschetta, garlic bread with cheese (not photographed), pizza and cannelloni. The pizza was good with a nice tomato sauce which didn't make the sauce soggy. The cannelloni wasn't as good as the pizza but still decent. The cheese garlic bread was very good and preferred to the bruschetta.Service was good but a bit hasty but friendly. Overall a pleasent experience!

Amazing food and taste. Very good size of pizza and pasta, that was I ordered at Mamma Mia. The service is friendly and quickly. In the works of my soon “the best gluten free pizza I ever eat”. Really recommend place.
