Mediterranean Fish Bar in Oxford

I went here the other week and I wasn't best pleased with the service. I had a burger and chips meal, I think it was advertised around £5. I went to sit down and eat in their seating area and they charged an extra £4. I felt this was a bit unfair and they never mentioned there was a charge for sitting down and they said to pay after the meal. I wouldn't have minded paying a bit extra this is almost twice the price, or if they mentioned that when you sit down you have to pay £4 extra I then could have made the decision to take out.

Absolutely brilliant, I have used this chip shop for many years without a single complaint, great selection available and my only problem is choosing what to have as it is all so good, really nice service, great price and excellent food. I would recommend to anyone 👍

I don’t live round this area but I am in hospital and I went to this chip shop they are very nice staff and there food is lovely there chips and fish and curry sauce is lovely and chips are very nice and Crispy I rate this chip shop better then posh fish shop

Worst fish and chips I've ever had. Dry reheated chips from the previous day by the taste of it. Won't be going back

Absolutely rotten food I got fish and chips and my mother got a chicken breast and they heated it up In the microwave. My fish and chips went in the bin as it was the most vile fish and chips I have ever had. Never would i go here again nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

I go every week with my family it’s the best fish and chips I’ve had!! 5 star hygiene rating as well and the staff are very helpful!

We had burger and a mixed kebab with a humongous portion of chips( enough for 3 in a standard portion!). It's spot on!. Cordon bleu it ain't ( why would you expect that?) But it's great for the type of d food it serves. Big plus is it's choice of food. Meets most of the fast food hunger pangs and a reasonable price.

Amazing ..the best fish n chips in the world 🤣😂been going 28 yrs now and never been disappointed..we always share a portion .great very helpful lovely chaps ..savaloys recommended and curry rolls yummy ..cant beat it .x thanks lads x

It's a big portion but you pay the price for it everything seems deep fried. 19.50 for two with a coffee and soft drink seems very steep London prices are cheaper. Very nice service no so nice breakfast. Coffee given as latte standard unless specified which I also found strange
