Nando's in Oxford

My wife and I were told to wait. We waited, over 15 minutes. There was no one else waiting.Three people came in and were immediately seated.I immediately protested and insisted we be seated. We had to wait more, until a table could be cleaned, while those who zoomed in 15+ minutes after us sat a a clean table that should have been ours.Is it ageism (we are grandparents)?The chicken and spices are awesome, as always. The bread was the hardest we have ever had.We love Nando's and have eaten it in Asia, Africa, the Americas, and here but this location needs a reformation or a renaissance.

Ordered a medium butterfly which I have had regularly for years so know exactly what it tastes like bit into it and immediately felt flushed, tongue numbed and starting to sweat. It was either cooked straight on top of something that had been extra hot or was done wrongly. No apology from the manager, begrudgingly given my money back. The waitress was pleasant and helpful but other than that it was a complete mess.

Popped into the restaurant instead of ordering on Deliveroo. Food took 1 hr and 5 mins to arrive from ordering to the table. I kindly asked the manager where my food was and I was told to sit down and that it was coming, even though four tables that came after me where all served before me. Extremely disappointed. Nando’s is meant to be a quick and easy place to get food. Felt like hell. Saturday 2nd July 2022 8pm to 10pm.

This 1 star review is going straight to the very disrespectful manager who, on the phone, after forgetting to put in my order 2 salads and 2 sauces, he is telling me the best option is to go myself to pick them up. But the reason why I paid Deliveroo to bring my food, is why I didn’t go. So if you can’t manage a job, is better to leave the manager job because is not for you, mister arrogance incapable.

had the most amazing experience! the food was lush, and when the service was a little slow due to lunch time rush the manager came over with extra food and dessert, never been more pleased!huge shout out to sal for making our experience 5 star!

Got some variety of foods and the food was top notch!!! Was quite busy despite that it was Wednesday but great quick service with lovely chargrilled chicken and amazing starters!The only reason it could not be 5 stars was the door :( The door constantly kept bringing in cold air from outside and despite that we asked if it can be closed or be moved they said they cannot and we had to wear jackets inside. They said it is to show the restaurant was open but felt this let the customer service score down. Will be back again but hopefully as far away from the door…

Went to the restaurant. Waited for 15 minutes no one even bothered to greet us. It wasn't even busy and then a white blonde guy came up to us while we were leaving and told that he thought me and my partner where here for diliveroo which was pretty racist as we are south Asians.

Got chicken (extra hot) and corn on a cob. They tasted really good. My tastebuds would not agree with the "extra hot"description of the chicken though, but I know I have a very high threshold. I'm giving a 3 star rating because the quantity of the meal was painfully very small for the price. Other than that the quality was decent.

We came here as we had no other dining options as everywhere else was full on a busy saturday evening. We had a vegetarian meal here. The staff were very polite and helpful!

Turned up to be greeted by a guy asking if we were in the queue, (well yes we are waiting at the door!) to be told we needed to be in the virtual queue to get a table and there was a 20 minute wait despite tables being free. Went online and nowhere to sign up to this elusive queue. Not sure the online experience is working here to be honest. You’ve lost a customer!
