Nef'istanbul Restaurant in Oxford

Exquisite Turkish food, abundant choices, attentive service from Larisa. We had cold mixed meze and mixed grill, both were delicious - well-seasoned and the meats were tender. The wine selection by the glass was well-chosen. The dessert (kunefe) was freshly prepared to order and truly delicious. All in all great mid-Eastern food and a very good value.

First time went to this restaurant when visiting Oxford. Must say we were very satisfied with ourmeal. Very friendly n polite staff. Cherry on the top was the tea. Very tasty. Would definitely love to come back.

A selection of Turkish food, we tried lahmajon and chicken shish whaich. was very good, generous portions, and the salad is also very nice, Coban salad.they have a dancer with music as well

Nice setting, baba Ganoush was tasty and bread was nice and soft. We felt that main courses were overpriced and not as tasty as they should have been. Overall, will not return as there are much better options nearby.

This is one of my favorite restaurant in Oxford. The food is always fantastic and delicious. Servers are also great and always happy and polite. Can’t wait to return.

Fantastic service! Ended up coming here after the many appalling experiences in British pubs where most often we would find unprofessional youngsters who just weren't trained to offer a basic level of hospitality, let alone service.The bread and the Turkish delight was a nice touch. Lovely people, attentive staff and overall a lovely place. The spotless sparkling mirrors installed across the venue really spoke for the 5* hygiene rating, everything was remarkably clean... No squeaky tables, no stains, no leftover cutlery - attention to the smallest details... Great experience, will definitely come back!

Just want to say a big thank you to management and staff for their hospitality last night. We arrive as 3 families, total 14 lots of kids, same day large booking which was no issue. Upon arrival I requested the music to be turned very low due to one guest having autism and being uncomfortable with music. They agreed without hesitation (even though the restaurant was busy) . This was a massive plus for us. It allowed us to eat together as extended family. The food was delicious with lots of variety. The portion sizes were very good. Prices were very reasonable. The service was excellent. Thank you to all the staff who looked after us. (One spillage and one broken glass). Oxford is a half way meet point for our families and we would definitely be returning here again. Highly recommended.

This is the second time I visit them. Very friendly and welcoming staff and atmosphere. I only went to take away the food yet they offered me a table and gave me a cup of tea to enjoy while I wait for my takeout. Will definitely visit again

It was my first trip to this restaurant and I must say overall it was a good experience. Nice indoor and outdoor sitting. Ordered two family platters and everything tasted spot on.

The food quality was good however, the quality of rice was not good. I visited NEF Istanbul fourth time previously and never paid service charges this time (28 Aug 21) they charged me 12.99£ for service which was I believe extortion on top of the high food price. I will not visit them anymore.
