Wonderful gig as part of the spin jazz club

Went there for a theatre performance. Nice venue, clean, with a nice café, close to the town centre, parking and a few nice local pubs and restaurants.

It’s a really nice place and staff is so friendly

We went to a stand-up comedy gig. Staff were helpful and friendly. The theatre space was very good. Very open and seating arranged so that everyone had a reasonable clear view. General facilities are good and there is plenty of seating in the cafe/bar area. The comedy gig was also very good.

Somewhere completely unique! If you get the chance to see a show or visit an exhibition here, you won't regret it. The most wonderful building, with a fantastic programme of meaningful, funny and moving performances. They're always trying something new and exciting, and everything they do, they do well.

My Volunteering Work place, fantastic workers fantastic charity, fantastic atmosphere every member of the public should come to see the shows, from July 2021.

Cute little gallery in the old Fire station. Adorable little gift shop on the top floor. Gallery located on bottom floor with a lovely little collection and some good installations. Can see the collection in 15-30’mins depending on individual’s choice. We saw collection in 20 mins. Good social distancing measures and it’s free abs open to the local community.

Came here when we went to Oxford for the day, and the service was good but not the greatest. The café was busy and when come in with a pram, none of the workers come to help and when asked where the child seats were got a 'grunt' and a finger pointing to the direction of the seats. A customer come to help us out so was not impressed with the service from the staff at the counter. The staff member who served us was great, and could not fault her but the people at the counter was not nice and from the kitchen we could hear shouting and unpleasant verbal language. The food was expensive but was tasty, and come quick considering how busy it was. But would not recommend this to families with young children/babies, as not much faculties available for them such as food they can eat and difficult to enter the café and move around.

An eclectic range of performance art, often at bargain ticket prices. Staff are friendly, the studio is a great space to watch shows in and the cafe does decent snacks and beer. The venue are very open to accommodating local performers as well as playing host to larger tours and shows. The Old Fire Station is an Oxford cultural gem and well worth your regular support.
