Great portions honestly super filled right now You have to try the golden wings. So nice and crunchy

We were visiting Oxford, and chose this restaurant misled by good reviews. We had a group of 6, so rang them first to check whether need to prebook if we are just 15 min away. They said they are ok to have us.The menu came, literally just in 30 sec, the guy came to take order. We asked just for 1-2 min to decide. He was unbelievably rude as if we intruded there! He said they are rushing as the kitchen is closing in a min, which we completely understand! However, why don't u just clarify that to the customers if they r ringing before coming in!!!We were so hungry, so kind of just digested that attitude and ordered something.However, the 'golden wings' were pathetic and rest of the food item were average. I am sure there are far better restaurants in Cowley roads!!!

Good Portion, Fast service,Cheapbut my chicken ramen - full of bone-bits and tasted of old spoiled meatserved in a dirty stained plastic bowl that smelled really bad.suspiciously only accepts CASH , fortunately had enough spare change to cover the bill

Cash only. Food OK. Quick service. Katsu curry chicken not from breast or leg. Chewy so could have been anything. But not expensive

The real deal! We had chicken ramen, gyoza, yakisoba noodles and vegetarian tempura. Tasty and big portions all for a really good price!

Very nice and tasty food, also at slightly cheaper prices than other Asian restaurants in Oxford. I ordered the beef brisket rice and portion size is great - there was a lot of meat. Their side dishes (chili and garlic chicken wings/squid) are also hot and tasty (served really quickly as well)

Excellent service, me and my partner are visiting oxford for one night and decided to try the red star. It’s clean, organised and with a simple yet beautiful design. The dishes were fantastic with a super fast service. We had the seaweed duck rolls, chicken ramen and a delicious rice dish. Very nice atmosphere with great attention to detail. Desserts are not offered but there is a great plum wine, which gives a sweet finish to a great meal. The bill is presented with some jelly beans. Will definitely be returning the next time we are in the area.

Low prices, big portions and most important - delicious food. There are a lot of options for noodles in the area but this is by far the best. I've enjoyed everything I've ever had here but the Yaki soba is a standout dish and the garlic chili fries. The menu contains veggie and vegan dishes and the kitchen can accomodate any allergies.
