Rick's Vegetarian in Oxford

We ordered a Green Lantern and had already started eating when we noticed it was missing three key ingredients (smoked beans, grilled tomatos and the tofu). We told the lady at the counter and she just said the menu was out of date and had an expression like "what do you want me to do about it".Essentially it was a tenner for a budget vegan patty, a kebab style salad, chips and a couple cold tomatoes.Update the menu or at least let customers know they aren't getting what they order! Not worth a tenner and no efforts made to make it right.

Friendly diner with fast service and plenty of options. The diner is clean and has a fun interior, plenty of seating and a nice place to sit and people watch on Cowley Road. Would highly recommend to veggies and vegans as well. And even better that they offer the choice to take away :)

I came to Rick's Diner shortly before peak breakfast hours on a Sunday morning.The diner itself is charming with plenty of natural wood and brick decor. The staff are friendly and the food is pretty good. Prices are decent. I would recommend Rick's for breakfast, overall.The one downside to my visit is that I ordered eggs florentine and the eggs were prepared medium-boiled instead of poached (see photos). Overall, though, the taste was pretty nice even if the eggs were not runny at all.If you have the chance, I'd recommend checking Rick's out.

Ricks diner went there with the family , they don’t have any kids options. The waitress was very pleasant and the place was clean but the food was below average. I ordered the Ricks special which was dry and salad was old..

Awesome breakfast stop. Nice and clean, well laid out interior and a good selection of food options on offer. We chose the pancakes and they were great. We found them really fresh and tasty. The coffee was a little weak for my taste but was still a great flavour.There are QR codes on the tables so you can grab a seat and order contact free. The free wifi is an added bonus.

Really good brunch. The burger was really good. They used just the right amount of sauce that let the taste of the burger still come out.Would come back but would probably skip the milkshake.

Had a great burger with my friend that reminded me of home. The food was delicious, reasonably priced, and I even got a chance to meet the owner, Sam, who was lovely and a wonderful host. I'll definitely be back!

Ricks diner is amazing!! Best cafe in cowley for sure. Service is always amazing and staff are super friendly. Food is so so good and have lots of options for people with specific requirements. Burger is 10/10 and milkshake are super delicious!! If you haven’t been to ricks you need to go now!!!

The food was really tasty and affordable. I went with a double cheeseburger and peanut butter milkshake. The woman behind the till was kind enough to recommend getting the meal deal as it worked out cheaper and came with fries. At the end the manager Sam came over to see how our meal was. The hand made burgers were excellent and so were the pancakes and eggs benedict. Would definitely recommend. 👍
