Silvie in Oxford

Fantastic hidden gem on the Iffley Road, unassuming frontage leading to extensive inside and garden space.Great food and coffee, thoroughly enjoyed.

Pickled courgette was insane. Some of the plates & mugs are very nice. Plants are gorgeous. Nothing not to love. Garden out the back is a dream.

Mmmmmm, yum. Lovely setting too on a wet or cold day!

This place is a hidden gem! I am not from Oxford, but I visited here for the first time recently to meet a friend, and I simply loved it! The decor is quaint and cosy, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, the staff are efficient and friendly, and the food is delicious! My friend had mushroom soup, which she loved, and I had a cinnamon roll, which was the best I have ever tasted! When I am back in Oxford I will most definitely be visiting again!

Environment is first class. Coffee and cakes amazing, lot of choices and good value. The lunches are good quality but a little overpriced £8 for a toasted sandwich or soup . I would buy regularly if there were options for around £6

I had a lovely dinner in Silvie tonight. I am so glad to see the dinner session has come back! I had Chicken legs with scallions for main, it is very tender and flavourful! And I had the tiramisu as the dessert, it is just fantastic! There is also lovely alcohol to go with the meal. The staff in Silvie are really friendly and sweet. This place just makes me feel at home. I enjoy Rosie the cat’s cuddle and the beautiful garden of course. Me and my friends enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere a lot! I’m going back for dinner again :)

Incredibly cute and homy cafe with lovely staff members and nice garden to sit outside! Smoked salmon with sourdough was incredible and loved that they were using missing beans coffee! The garden outside was very lovely and all staff members were wearing masks which was really great too! Would love to come back again :)!!

Best brunch spot oxford has to offer! From perfectly cooked full English to pancakes to sour dough and poached eggs it's the dream. And you wont be able to resist their cakes, gorgeous!

Delicious food! We stayed at Browns (the hotel attached to the cafe) so came down for breakfast in the morning. The food was lovely, staff super friendly, and we liked the charm of the place. Weather was good so we sat out in the garden and were greeted by the cat, Rosie, who loved a good fuss. There seemed to be a lot of locals coming to eat here, not just hotel guests. Would definitely come again!
