The Alchemist Oxford in Oxford

Very inventive menu and really creatively packaged drinks. The dining area is bright and lively and the service was excellent. I HIGHLY recommend The Alchemist!

Always a fun place to stop for drinks. There's something for everyone on the menu and the cocktails taste as good as they look. My only qualm is that it can be a bit pricey, especially when most of their drinks are single measures :/

Great food and great cocktails. Service hit and miss. Was sitting outside. HD to find someone to take my order despite being told they’d be out straight away. Shame

Fantastic staff providing superb service. Wonderful collection of unique and interesting cocktails, complete with custom glassware to suit. Coming here is not just a good time, it's an experience.

Great atmosphere. Great service. The starters were wonderful! Cocktails were ok. There were a bunch of us and we ordered different mains. I would give it 5 stars but none of us particularly enjoyed our main, sadly which really let the place down. Otherwise, great place.

Nice place for cocktails, especially if it's sunny so you can enjoy outside with a nice view. We had pina colada and espresso martini. Prices are higher than other places, but the cocktails are nice.

Many people told me this is the best place in Oxford for eat and drink. 🤔 Be honest I don't feel this atmosphere. For me is too dark and crowdy. Bar is really hudge and plenty of choice. Don't know anything about food menu...

Came in for one as it's been on my bucket list for some time, was everything I expected and more! Science and cocktails my two favourite things! 😍

I can’t see a reason not to rate this place a five star. Firstly a friend took me out and we had a drink . Then I decided to take another to this place again because I enjoyed everything about it on my first encounter. The staffs were nice and accommodating. The dishes I tried was tasty 😋Thanks a lot and keep the good work

Enjoyable early evening meal with their famous cocktails full of alchemy! Very colourful drinks as shown in the photos and lovely ambience with a good vibe to the place. I've also attempted uploading a video of one of the dry ice cocktail that I ordered - hope you can see it :-) The staff were very welcoming and we were delighted with the experience especially as it was quite by chance that we found the place as the previous restaurant we went to were only taking pre-bookings due to Covid. Great views of Oxford if you are on the balcony.
