Amazing food. It tasted so authentic, just like you'd get in Sri Lanka. The idea of the place is that you order a variety of small dishes and share them - it works well. Would definitely recommend the egg hopper. It would have been cool to have string hoppers on the menu, but that's just a preference! The staff were excellent and kept smiling - just like in Sri Lanka too!

At first I wasn’t overly enthusiastic, there was a funny smell in the air. BUT, the food proved don’t judge a book by its initial smell, as it is so so good. The hoppers are amaaazing and the sides as well. The parottas are so crispy and we ordered a side of egg fried rice which was yummm. I regret not ordering a cocktail to go with it, going by the trend I bet they were delicious.

Brilliant lunchtime with the other half. Our server, Oscar, total legend who served us kindly and recommended some great food. We’ve never ate in before, loved the take always but this time food was fresh!Would recommend if you’re in the area!

Super fun atmosphere! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about gluten free menu items. Menu items were a little spicy for my taste, but had the most delicious panko crusted mushrooms. Everything pictured below is gluten free.

Really nice place for lunch - had a lot of different things between us. Favourites were the pumpkin curry and the roast potatoes. 5 Cs salad also really nice - have recreated at home. Nice cocktails and offers and good service.

We had a lovely dinner here. We went veggie and were not disappointed. By far our favourite were the stir fried chickpeas, which I highly recommend. The cocktails were really nice as well (and quite strong too).

Absolutely delicious. Never had Sri Lankan food before and it was all amazing. Great Vegetarian selection. They suggested we get 4 small dishes each (so we shared the equivalent of 8 between the two of us) and we did find that to be a bit too much food. But they let us take it away in a doggy bag so not too fussed.Loved the Kotthu and the Cheesy Columbo in particular.

Another lovely experience here. They do know how to look after you and the food is delicious every time. Our only negative experience recently was trying to order takeaway, which was hard to do and took ages. (Would be better to wait for delivery at home but we wanted to collect. )If possible, go and enjoy eating in plus you can enjoy one of their delicious cocktails or mocktails.

We had a fantastic lunch in the Coconut Tree this weekend. Small Sri Lankan "tapas" are fantastic for sharing and we all enjoyed especially the cashews in a curry and Colombo cheese (sweet and sour). Word of advice: some dishes are unusually spicy - my friends ordered the salad which had lots of fresh red chillies in it and as tasty as it was, they were not able to finish it. So just have a chat with your waiter about it if you are sensitive to spice.
