The Four Candles in Oxford

Great prices, great place, quick table service. I can't believe they can do it for the price. We all know its not the best food in the world but its good food and excellent for the price. And add a drink as well, you can't go wrong going to a 'spoons. Brilliant

Like every Wetherspoons, it's an excellent value for money. The ambience at The Four Candles is excellent and is one of the most popular with students in Oxford, most likely because the drinks are quite cheaper.Unfortunately, most of the food items that we planned to order yesterday were out of stock which was a shame. Fish & chips and Half grilled chicken were out of stock. Pizza oven was broken. So that left us with very very limited options on the menu and we had to order items that we wouldn't be our first choice here.Despite being a Monday evening, it was packed and hence, the service was slightly slower.

Busy Saturday night but served quickly and even found a seat. Fantastic pub with friendly staff. Toilet door could do with a fix but then... couldn't they all!? Its ok.. thats what friends are for!Overall definitely coming back soon!

Lovely Wetherspoon pub just not far from station. Double storey, beautiful atmosphere, nice vibes. Nothing special, usual drinks they’re serving. Service is good n quick. Busy place because full of students but hy everyone like to enjoy at least after the Covid hard times.

Too many people in the space available. Not good, having people standing right behind you with drinks while you are eating. The food was good, served hot and quickly. Staff pleasant, despite being very busy.

A good quality pub in the centre of Oxford, situated on George Street amongst many other restaurants. Tasty food and a wide variety of drinks at great prices. Nice atmosphere and very spacious! For those who appreciate a good Wetherspoons carpet, the carpet in here is very... dark and dingy - rather brown in colour. A bit boring in my books but each to their own! 🤷🏼‍♂️🤔Anyhow, despite Tim Martin being a Tory-backing, Brexit-supporting gammon, you just can't help visiting his pubs 🤷🏼‍♂️🤣🇪🇺❤️

Nice quiet place,with great decor and friendly staff.

Typical wetherspoons pub.Decent food and a good choice of drinks at reasonable prices.Service was a little slow (only ordered 2 drinks).Seating could do with a good clean in the booths downstairs as they are covered in stains.

Very clean and tidy pub with security on the door table service fast. Prices fantastic with plenty choice of food or drink
