The Garden at The Gardener's Arms in Oxford

Awful. We were met by a charmless woman. We arrived at 8 pm but we’re not served until 9:30. When we finally were given some service the woman barked information at us, and was more like a sergeant major ordering the troops, than a server wishing to charm. The service was simply dreadful. The food had nothing much to recommend it, and there seemed to be mountains of chips which were mostly left. The ladies was very dirty. My one and only visit to The Gardeners Arms.

Wonderful service and delicious food. The burger is truly excellent. Would have loved a few more options in the menu, but overall a great experience. Highly recommended

Went there yesterday for my dad's birthday lunch. He's vegan and we often struggle to find anywhere that does a variety of vegan food, but we absolutely loved it here! Food was fantastic, Toby (I hope I got the name right!) was lovely to talk to, and they allow dogs which is a huge plus for us as well! I'm not veggie but would have their vegan shawarma over a meaty one any day. I can see us coming back very soon :)

Vegetarian comfort food that's amazing. Also great outdoor seating and garden. One of the most underrated pubs in Oxford

As an habitual meat eater I left the Gardeners arms thoroughly sated. BIG YUM.Generous portion of slightly spicy,very tasty tucker. Really quick and friendly service from a menu with plenty of variety.Would highly recommend this cute little pub.Oh and a nice pint or two of Oxford Blue to top it off.

This is a vegetarian only pub. You might go for the novelty, but you'll find yourself coming back again and again for their delicious menu and great selection of beers! I tried their vegetarian mushroom pie and still can't believe how tasty it was. Not only that, but the seasonal vegetables on the side were some of the best I've ever had.

A well deserved 5 stars! We were right to trust the reviews. The food here was absolutely fantastic, and the veggie burgers next level. Even my omnivorous partner said it was one of the best burgers he's ever had, hands down Fine praise indeed! We'll definitely be back

Been coming here for YEARS. Some of the best vegan food anywhere (the Medley Mushroom pie is incredible). However, they serve it now with chips rather than roasted new potatoes. Also, I don’t think they got the message about Covid restrictions being lifted - still make you track and trace and wear masks! Pity really.

Amazing vegan menu and lovely staff, very friendly and accommodating. Man with long dark hair was especially lovely. Ordered fully loaded and the pie and both were divine. Highly recommend

Great spot for vegan and vegetarian food.Cosy atmosphere and always very popular with locals for good reason.Garden is larger than you'd think and we were able to social distance reasonably well.Come for the quiz on Sunday. It's fiendish.
