The Jam Factory in Oxford

The Jam Factory have upped their game! Haven't been there in a while to be honest but last night was great. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I went out with my family & friends, including 3 small children, which can sometimes be tough but the staff we so helpful, accommodating and kind that it felt easy. Thank you team!

Tasty, but the laid back service struggled with how busy moules mercredi was, meaning the bar was full of staff who needed prompting to serve and one girl was serving the whole restaurant alone!

Super cute place near the station. They do live drawing lessons and there is an art gallery Inside so you can enjoy coffee, tea, or food and the atmosphere is cosy and chilled!!

Bit of a sterile feel to the place, reminds me of old late nineties art centres. Felt like the place where a young lonely anxious student would be struggling to write his personal reflection when he meets his manic pixie girl who eventually convinces him to have the courage to stand up to his parents, quit his medical degree and start focusing on his poetry. Of course ten years later he is single, broke and his relationship with his parents for ever ruined, manic pixie girl now works in marketing for Tesla, and he works in WH Smith counting the hours.Good beer though and a range of exciting events.

A really lovely place, went today for Mother's day and had the roast, it was delicious, perfect portion, amazing home cooked taste. We also treated ourselves to some cakes which were really yummy! Handing out bunches of flowers to the Mothers was a beautiful touch and my mum really appreciated it. I also loved the fact that I could take my dog.The staff were friendly and the whole ambience and atmosphere of the place is great! I can't recommend enough, if you are in Oxford go and treat yourself to some great food and if you're into art there is a lovely market there too.

Been here a few times and found the fare a treat. Delightful and welcoming staff. Lighting not very bright for those with vision impairment. Would definitely patronise this place, handily close to the station, during daylight hours.

Quite a find in the commercial desert that surrounds Oxford railway Station. Family friendly, good menu with a good looking Sunday roast available. Approachable staff and a surprisingly high quality range of draught beers. The wine list - not so much...

Beautiful venue, the worst service and food we have ever eaten in Oxford. No one came over to serve us, we had to get up to get our own menus, the coffee was cold and the order was wrong (they only brought 1 burger instead of 2). However, thank goodness as it was inedible.We split it in half and couldn’t eat it, it was like pink mush. It came without the onions, we had ask for them and when they finally came they were horrible (sweet as though from a jar) there was a colourless slice of tomato and a pathetic slither of lettuce and no burger sauce either. I had to ask for that also. Despite the patty being awful anyway the entire thing just seemed very lazy. Frustrating feeling like you have to get up and ask for every single thing, we may as well have cooked ourselves.My sons chicken burger consisted of a slice of roast chicken folded in two pieces of toast cut around like a circle - weird. He didn’t eat his either. All in all we ate between us the two portions of chips which were quite nice. The manager was nice about it and did partially refund us however we regretted going and left hungry.It’s such a shame as the space was beautiful and we were hoping to enjoy it. However, despite appearances, this place misses the mark and was a huge disappointment

The food here is simply terrible. I really wanted to like this place because the actual space it’s in is really lovely, but the food and service (at least for breakfast) are just the worst. Just look at the photos. The food is overpriced, the quality poor, the selection limited and the service quite simply a joke. We had to ask 3 times for sauce to have with what was easily the world’s driest burger. The only explanation that makes sense here is that the people running this place mustn’t eat breakfast or drink coffee.

Perfect spot for lunch. We sat outside in the sun and had the sourdough sandwiches which were absolutely delicious. Coffees were also amazing!
