Excellent cake, good coffee! A smoothly run establishment which is very busy and fast paced. Really inviting location and the breakfast menu looks fabulous!Visited this cafe a few times now.Definitely worth it!Looking forward to calling in again!

NOT welcoming to children.I went with my 5 yo and sat downstairs as there weren't any available tables upstairs. We went upstairs to order 2 cold drinks and a slice of cake.My 5 yo is very capable but was very nervous of the stairs.Staff (and customers!) could see we were struggling to get down the stairs, but not one person offered to help. One member of staff stood at the bottom of the stairs and another one at the top but instead of offering to help, just watched and looked p***ed off with us.When we left we followed a member of staff out the shop, she knew we were behind her, but instead of being polite and holding the door open for us (like I thought most people did?!), just let it close behind her.

Loved the cafe breakfast, excellent toast and amazing coffee! Quite busy and trendy Jericho staple - definitely be back ...

Lovely but plates could've been warmed to keep scrambled eggs warm.

This is my favourite cafe in Oxford. When I first got a job in Oxford I arrived much too early on my first day and this cafe was my saviour, with a great breakfast and much needed coffee. Now, over a decade later, it's one of the few cafes in Oxford that is still just as good as it ever was.Seating can be tight and cramped but they've got a nice but of extra outside seating now, which is rare on Walton. Food is fresh and tasty, service is friendly and normally swift, though it does slow down on busy days. The variety of stuff available is fantastic, with a good choice of bagels, full breakfasts, main meals, waffles.... You'll find something you like here.

Sweet little cafe with great coffee and food. We are a gluten free couple so were happy when we saw GF options and enjoyed it all thoroughly. The person who served us put a smile on our faces and made our day. Can’t wait to be back!

Excellent breakfast! Great to have proper meat - the sausage was delicious and on reflection, I should have ordered an extra one! Nice that they used real meat, not something you wouldn't feed your cat like other places! Friendly staff, clean, you could order over their website, which was helpful, or at the counter. Plenty to choose from too. Top tip - there's plenty of room downstairs!

Best full English I‘ve ever had. Also a great veggie and vegan option! Wonderful service.

Dropped by for a breakfast bap after a morning cycle. Absolutely perfect. Runny egg, nicely done sausages and bacon done just crispy enough. Coffee was also on par. I'll definitely be back for more!

New York bagel (mixed seeds) and chorizo melt. Great quality ingredients. Bagel had lots of filling (sauerkraut, Emmental, gherkin) with homemade dressing and tasty beef. Melt was excellent too with big chorizo pieces. A biiit pricey (but normal for Oxford I guess). The food was great but the drinks were average. Highly recommended for a take-away lunch by the park!
