The food is really great and the place is cozy. But the service is very poor and the food takes forever to come. If you’re willing to wait 40-50 min for your food, this place is for you.

Handily placed bar to meet up.I think there was a restaurant in the back which seemed to be the focus.Hot and dusty adult family dropped in for a refreshing beer accompanied by a well behaved small dog, but they had to move on due to 'no dogs' policy. As a non dog person, I felt the front bar could have accommodated them (there was certainly space).

An old traditional pub which has kept its atmosphere despite now being also a very good Thai restaurant! Good varied menu and tasty ales and cider

A proper boozer (good beer, no TV, no muzak) apparently run by a family of Thai origin, with Thai food on offer at affordable prices. (I did not eat, but teh food on other customers' plates looked good). I will certainly return. Despite being almost opposite Chist Church, there were not tourists when I visit, only locals, which is a good sign.

Very good ambience and nice staff. The chicken wings we have ordered are a bit bland (to our very Asian tastes), sadly. Nice pad Thai!

Nice atmosphere and layout. Service is good. Beer selection is good, though I did think my draught beer likely needed its pipes cleaned (unfortunately a common problem in pubs, gives it an aftertaste)

Not what you might expect to find in a traditional pub, Thai food on the menu. If you love a traditional English pub and Thai food then highly recommend a visit.

Having just landed from a very remote island in the South Atlantic, came across this delightful pub, serving a nice Tatchers Gold and some delicious food, will definitely be back to sample more during my stay in Oxford

Couldn't be happier! Traditional pub fare can be a bit tiresome, especially for veg* folks. For those of us who want more, this spot offers the best of both worlds: delicious Thai food and a genuine pub atmosphere. Prices are standard and the staff are supremely friendly. Will definitely be coming back!
