Nice staff, decent atmosphere - food is really grim though. Chicken was dry, burnt and flavourless. Chicken burger was like something you'd get out of a downmarket high street fried chicken shop. Sides were disappointing also. Overall really low quality food - go for the drinks.

Nice bar close to the station. Add another couple of real ales / craft beer and would have been perfect

Fantastic venue for my party! The staff were brilliant - super friendly, professional, communicative and flexible. Everything ran like clockwork. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place - thank you to the team!

Nice ambiance with a super nice staff. Sorry to be candid, but the food is amazingly bad. Everything was dry, tastless, burnt and bad quality. Like a soggy sandwich from a supermarket would be a gourmet experience compared to this. The cook obviously does not like food, eating and cooking. Probably hates customers too 😜

How rude! Popped in just now to have a Bloody Mary, was told without apology that they don’t have them. Incredulously, I asked if one could not be made? Again, I was told no. Wow. What a joke. A bar without vodka and tomato juice? Are you kidding me? More like a pub with a lazy barman just idling his time away. Shan’t be going back there again.

Went into this bar on the walk back to the train station. Went up to the bar to buy some drinks, the barman said I could not stand there and there was nowhere to sit. I said you are as good as asking us to leave and he said yes, leave and so we did and we won't be back!!

Hired the upstairs for my 50th. Very accommodating, good venue for a party. I ordered food platters, prosecco and beers for my guests and it all went really smoothly. Bar staff great and stayed open til 2am. Being close to town, train station, bus station and car park everyone was catered for. Highly recommend for private function.

We ordered a beefburger with cheese and bacon, plus a vegan burger. Both delicious, nice device and staff. Great dinner by the river.

Loved the mocktails! There is a nice ambience with lovely people performing live music. The bartender was especially friendly and made us two types of mocktails which both tasted amazing! Not to mention the price.
