The Rusty Bicycle in Oxford

Have been here a few times and am always really pleased with the food (despite limites options - pizza and burgers - best around!). It does get very busy at times which results in the longer wait times - but its very worth it! The service is fab 👌🏽

Incredibly rude and blunt staff, One staff member in particular who served our table (who I believe is American/Canadian). The food is good but the service let’s it down. The staff forgot items we ordered and insisted they had come when they clearly had not. One waiter slammed a tray with multiple chips down and told us to sort it out ourselves as “it’s too much hassle”. These people should really not be in the hospitality industry if they do not like to serve people. The chap who I believe is the manager really needs to change his attitude, as multiple customers agreed with me, he is rude and incredibly unhelpful with everything seeming like a chore. This pub is gaining a bad reputation within the community as a result of this staff member, which is a shame because the food is good!

This is the only good pub quiz I’ve ever been to. Fr it is so ADHD friendly. I’ve always hated pub quizes but I started doing this one in the pandemic and it’s amazing. Genuinely a gem of Oxford. I recommend Oxford just for this quiz. It’s even more fun irl. I literally only go to the pub for the quizzes hahaha. Foods good too but there are very few nut free vegetarian options so meh. Atmosphere is ok. But yeah, the pub quiz is exceptional.

This place is very popular, so obviously lots of people like it! It does have a great atmosphere, the pizza is great, but the beer - for years and years - has been terrible (they are a small chain, with largely there own beers, it is true in all locations). It's a pub - you need to have good beer!

£5 Margarita Pizza lunchtime special. Great value and fantastic quality.My favourite though are the beef burgers. I love them pink and chunky, and that's what you get. My associate had a Dirty Bird there, and that was lovely too. They do plant-based vegan burgers, but...you know...each to their own.Try the dodo lager, it's quite nice.

Busy for a Monday night nevertheless the food service was quick. Like a lot of joints like this they split the burger with the fries prices so you are laying out £14+ for them and with £4-5 a pint it's a £20 meal

It's a great place with good food. Pizza's, Burgers and Chicken dishes are very tasty indeed. Great beers and drinks as well. Atmosphere is very pub-like but very cool!

The staff are overwhelmed with the clientele, but the atmosphere and the quality of food is on point, one of the best experiences in Oxford, a student vibe with a Local influence. Currently my favourite haunt. Look at the queue

Such a lovely pub with great staff and lovely food! We came at 15:00 which was still buzzing inside but all the orders were table service with flipping the menu to green if you want to order which was great. They did not offer burgers at this time but pizza was great! I think the tea could be tea leafs to reduce waste and sauces to not be on plastic container but other than this it was great! We used QR code to get the menu which was nice and truffle chips and Margarita was top notch! Having some student discount and booking system for current times could be a bit more helpful so that the place does not filled up but would love to come back again :)
