The Swan & Castle in Oxford

Staff are really nice. Decent, super fast vegetarian breakfast and unlimited refill coffee is such a great idea! Tables are set up in a way that makes it hard to navigate the space tho!

Friendly enough environment however found toilets and table tops not really clean staff often outside having a smoking break coffee machines not always topped up or often only 1 of the 2 working and had a few breakfasts served Luke warm and not hot. Very reasonable price for food and drinks but feel some brand standards slipping

Lovely open area with much seating and the food is amazing

Upon arrival the service was very long when the food and drink come the waitress was very rude. We hadn’t even finished eating all as a group and she took one of the girls plates.. I as a 30 year old was id’d and refused the drink I had ordered and was continue only watched by all members of staff although I was sat happily with my coke.Staff need to be abit more polite and trusting of their customers.

Would not really recommend.I had eggs benedict and the food was eatable but there is a long way till the next level. The coffee/tea was from the machine, bread a bit hard, not warmed up or toasted, second quality ham, okish sauce, good poached eggs. Price is low but now i understand why

strangely not on WhatsApp locations. Fast drink service on app! Food quick too, However it is a trained national thing to give a steak serrated knife with pizza! As you know it's no good for cutting pizza.

A good quality and modern pub in the centre of Oxford, just to the west of the regenerated Westgate shopping centre, representing a nice branch of JD Wetherspoons. Tasty food and a wide variety of drinks at great prices. Nice atmosphere and very spacious! For those who appreciate a good Wetherspoons carpet, sadly the carpet in here is mediocre at best - a basic blue design with gold castle depictions in a grid pattern... a bit boring in my books but each to their own! 🤷🏼‍♂️🤔Anyhow, despite Tim Martin being a Tory-backing, Brexit-supporting gammon, you just can't help visiting his pubs 🤷🏼‍♂️🤣🇪🇺❤️

Argyle on tour! Visiting the Kassam stadium today. After my 3hr train journey I was hungry and gasping for endless coffee! Not the prettiest 'Spoons' I have ever been in and the service was very slow. Lots of staff not turned up. Inevitably a lot of so called Argyle fans were there but when they were told off for chanting songs and then abusing the lady manager, she kicked them all out!! Good for her....what courage. The beans on toast with 2 hash browns was excellent though.....

Just been served this mediocre pizza, bearly, carrying some ingredients on the top. The glasses are so filthy. The beer glass was ok.

Delicious Mac n chesse balls !!Pizza are not amazing but I put 5 stars for the priceTake for 1£ all the coffee you want is so cool+alcool is very cheap best deal for student !!I totally recommend it’s good and cheap !It’s clear that’s not a gastronomic restaurant but for this price you can’t ask for more !😄
