Really was torn over wether to give this 2 or 3 stars. Gave this 3 stars because the food we had was VERY tasty but the service was terrible. We had originally booked for a larger number of people however we had to cut the numbers down. At the very last minute we were able to increase our numbers by 2 so we asked if this would be possible. They refused... (We understand the table might have been small and couldn't accommodate it etc)We were in fairness offered to move if a bigger table came later in the night but for now our 2 additional friends would have to sit outside. When we went to our table it was clear that 1 extra person could easily fit and 1 more could fit (although admittedly it would be tight)... We asked the waitress again and was refused... We were told it wasn't possible but clearly 2 more could join.Eventually having "begged" 4 times they "agreed" to us to sit on one table and we enjoyed a delicious meal... Except one set of sides arriving practically at the very end (which they did take off the bill (once reminded)Service 2 star... Food 4 star = (For the price) Average 3 star...

The decor is stunning. The place has outdoor seating for drinks-only visitors, while indoor seating is for dining in. The staff were very friendly and doing their best, and the dishes I got (panko squid, steak fillet and sourdough bread) were all delicious. That said, it was clear that the place was extremely understaffed. We didn't get water for ~10 minutes initially, followed by a 30 minute wait for our small-plate order, which was more of an appetizer. The big plates are more medium than big, and though delicious, took a further half hour to be brought out. My order was wrong, so I waited another half hour (this is now 1.5 hours after arrival) for the correct dish to be brought out, which was amazing. I then got sourdough bread because the wait had made me hungrier than before. Throughout, it was difficult to flag waiters to refill our water.I don't blame the staff for the delays and mistakes. They are doing their utmost best to juggle the work of three each. I believe it is the lack of staff that caused the long waits to be served.I did get a discount due to the mix-up and the long wait, so there's that. But overall, the wait just wasn't worth the food to me.Wheelchair accessibility: There's an elevator to get up to the Roof Terrace of Westgate (where the restaurant is), so it is accessible by wheelchair.

We went for afternoon tea and it was amazing! The decor inside is beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The staff kept asking if we want more drink and kept refilling our water. This has to be booked in advance and you have to be there on time they don't let you in earlier than your booking unless you want to have drinks at the bar. Overall the place was beautiful, the staff were friendly and the afternoon tea was delicious.

We had a great meal at lunchtime for a friend’s birthday. The decor and atmosphere are wonderful, with plenty of choice on the menu. The staff are all really friendly and provided sparklers for our friend’s birthday cake!

Beautiful ambiance, love the outdoor seating in summer, and I'm sure it's just as lovely in winter with the heat lamps and blankets etc.Food delicious and great selection of drinks. Only niggle is service was a bit slow and we have to keep trying to locate a staff member.

Absolutely stunning venue. Service was excellent both at the bar while we waited for our table and when we moved to the restaurant for some food. Drinks very well made with some interesting stuff on the menu. The food was nice, but not exceptional - A lot of the food is fish/seafood orientated and I visited with my pregnant wife. I would like to come back and try more of the fish and sushi dishes as I feel like this is where the best of lives. Will absolutely be back!

A decently expensive restaurant with occasional live music located in an excellent position for a panoramic view of the city of Oxford. Friendly staff, good portions and well cooked food are well present in this establishment, would definitely recommend if you want to impress a dear person with a good atmosphere while being generous through your expenses. Also provides a bar service for drinks, day and night.

Pro: Had a good lunch there with my family. The vibe is pretty cool and the stuff was kind. The menu is various and the food was delicious.Cons: We were there with a baby and despite we order a not salted food for him, they brought us a very salted one.

If I could rate more than 5 stars I would, absolutely brilliant restaurant. Staff are lovely and attentive, food was spot on, cocktails are beautiful and the interior decor is gorgeous, outside had a lovely rooftop look out of Oxford too

Wonderful experience! I took my mum and nan for afternoon tea, and the whole thing was perfect. Nan commented on the decorations being soooo lovely. The staff were all so friendly, happy and helpful. Food was presented so fancy and impressive. A real treat!
