Good beer choices, ipa and cask. Food was excellent, katsu chicken burger was awesome, and my colleague had a vegetarian Beyond burger, and is still going on about it. Great atmosphere and all the staff were excellent.

We liked the look of The Wig & Pen as it was close to the Theatre. I downloaded the Greene King app to enable us to order and pay from our table.Apart from my own bank blocking my card transactions, it worked very well. It was more convenient especially as the bar filled up quickly due to St Patrick's day. There were 5 of us in my party and we all ordered various meals e.g. sausage and mash x2 bacon burger and chips and 1 pie and chips/mash along with 5 soft drinks for £65*which I thought was very reasonable. Add an extra £6* for 2 desserts.* roughly remembered pricing from the app, but close. The toilets are upstairs for both male and female, disabled toilets are located right of the stairs leading up to the balcony seating area and toilets. The young man that brought us our meals and drinks and desserts was very polite and courteous. If you are coming downstairs after using the toilets, members of the public carry up trays of food or drinks just barge up through the stairs. I tried to give men and women room on the stairs and I hoped that they would be the same to me but unfortunately not. I put it down to the day. I would not let that put me off from returning to the pub.

Great multi storey pub serving nice beers in cask & keg. Delicious food on the menu with a lot of veggie & vegan options. Friendly people behind the bar serving quickly. Nice vibes & cool atmosphere. Big screens for sports lovers. I had quick pint n move on to explore the city

Recently popped to Oxford for some sight seeing. Found the wig opposite the theatre and decided to pop in for a quick bite to eat. Great selection, well stocked bar, efficient and friendly. If we’re back this way I’ll definitely pop in again.

Pub: normal town centre.Staff: perfectly nice.Food: poor. Steak and ale pie CLEARLY is just offcuts from other ‘steak’, all gristle fat and cartilage. Coulda spoken up to staff, but it’s clear they ‘just work here’, and they’ll always have new walk-in clients. FYI, the fish and chips comes with the ‘curry/matter’ in that white gravy boat.

Great place in Oxford! Just wish to have more choice of cask ale beers.

Lovely place with friendly and attentive staff. Not to busy for a Sunday lunch either. Roast beef was delicious with a nice supply of veg and roasties. Daughter had the chicken and mush pie which was great and the chips amazing! Wife had mac and cheese with bacon which looked great and a generous salad. Also had the choc pudding and cream tea cheesecake - both brilliant.

Nice city centre pub, reasonable price. Usual Greene King drinks list - we didn't eat but menu looked good

This was such a lovely place! Very well lit and fun. Coming in, I grabbed a table and went to order form the bar. The place is spacious enough that I didn't feel crowded in and still had a nice cozy atmosphere.A great selection of gins and mixers for decent prices. The pie was good, and the gin was delicious.

Green king pub nice regular English pub usual availability of Drinks food however not so good had fish and it was fine but the salt beef natcho’s were awful could not find salt beef? So was baffled why it was so salty until I realised all they had done was to cover it in salt not good at all
