Abarbistro in Portsmouth

This is my first ever Google review and a momentous moment. But delicious, fresh pizza made to order in a mere 6 minutes (5 if you are in a real rush) to take onto the ferry, and satiate a hangry husband felt worthy of a 5 star review.

Super friendly staff and great food. Price is above average but certainly worth it.

Good mussels & soup. Great scallops and terrine. Very good risotto and fish n chips. Excellent ham hock. Lovely Rag and Bone Riesling to wash it down. Great service. All round lovely evening.

Very nice place to eat! We ate the special of the day and everything was really good. Always ask to the waiters what they suggest here 🙂 I’ll go back for sure.

Lovely starters, steak was reasonable, fish and chips fantastic, dessert and pizza weee a big disappointment. Service is fantastic here and Kira whom took care of us in particular is fantastic and got this restaurant an extra star.

My wife and I decided to revisit Arbistro at short notice on a Sunday (30th Jan) afternoon with our 2 kids to celebrate my son's 9th Birthday. We arrived slightly early however that was no problem at all despite the restaurant being quite busy. The table service was prompt and attentive and we all had really, really good food! I want to say a special thanks to the staff who were kind enough to put some helium filled balloons on our table for my son and wish him happy birthday several times... It really added to his special day!

Update 10/2021: All of the below still applies without question, a very consistent restaurant.Great tasting food from a seasonally changed menu. The surroundings are of superb quality, perfect for a lovely slap up meal, or just drinks if you wish. They have an excellent selection of wines with knowledgeable staff to help you choose.It has a very friendly environment and first class service. The outside seating areas (front and back) are most enjoyable in the summer months.
