Baba Ganoush in Portsmouth

Visited Portsmouth from Suffolk and decided to go out with my partner for some Turkish. Staff were very friendly and I have to say, some of the best Turkish food I've ever had!

The food is lovely, not sure how authentic as I've never visited Turkey but really delicious either way! The staff are really nice, attentive and helpful.

Lovely restaurant with wide-ranging Turkish menu with a bit of Greek (owner is Turkish Cypriot). We visited as a group of 5 friends and had a self-chosen (rather than set) meze of 10 dishes. The portions were ample and the food was well-presented and tasty. Friendly and helpful service, plus authentic Turkish beer!

Overcooked dried chicken, bland old looking salad and tasteless undercooked rice. One of the worst meals I have had in a long time. Furniture and overall decor needs a huge overhaul. The place is tatty and the food is even worst. Avoid at all costs.

When asked for extra hot they delivered. Massive portions here far to much to eat, very tasty would go here again. Family run business, not changed

Fantastic family run restaurant! The food was all home made and amazingly tasty! The staff are also very friendly and helpful with menu choices. Will definitely be coming back, can't recommend enough 😁.

Just got back from this restaurant knowing full well I can’t eat another thing, we’ve been here a few times now and never has it failed to please. The staff are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is very pleasant with gentle background music so you can still talk to people and the food is excellent, I wish I could cook like this. The prices are very reasonable but you must bring an appetite as you do not leave hungry. 5******.

Really tasty food ,good atmosphere and fantastic mezes..We went back last night July 2021 and 3 of us had the set menu C for 3 peopleC. Three PERSONS (£67)MIXED OLIVES & HOME-MADE BREADCOLD MEZES(Six Varieties)HOT MEZES(Stuffed Filo Rolls and Halloumi)MIXED KEBAB(Lamb Shish, Chicken Shish, Minced Lamb, Chicken Wings) So nice👍👌😀👏(with Rice & Salad)MIXED DESSERTAbsolutely lovely, there was so much food and the staff were very nice and helpful, the lady that served us was Bulgarian with glasses 👓 made our meal experience very pleasant.

Honestly, since I've moved here this is the best restaurant I've been. The food was amazing,the quantity just right and the quality perfect . The staff was very friendly and entertaining and the atmosphere perfect. Will return here, since it's worth it.
