Expensive for what you get. Ultimate filled Yorkshire was small sausages with a spoon of mash and some peas in a Yorkshire pudding...not very ultimate and not cheap.Reduced menu too, due to a gas leak. Was convenient as we were starving, but wouldn't choose to go back.Staff were friendly though

Only popped in for a drink but it was a nice open space, pently of seating & nice music playing in the background. A little confused when the sign took us to the hotel entrance instead of the pub entrance but the man behind the reception desk let us in that way & was very helpful. Other than that, we would visit again.

My family and I have been here many times. The staff are super friendly and attentive. The food is amazing, cooked to order, fresh and delicious. The price of food is very reasonable and usually big servings. There Sunday roasts are amazing too, but book early because they get very busy and walk ins are disappointed because they are fully booked.

Visited today for a festive Christmas party with friends and their kids. Kitchen was having a few issues with the fryer limiting some food items. Staff were really kind, honest and helpful about it all. Ensuring everyone had a meal they wanted. They pulled out all the stops with crackers and even a surprise drop in by father Christmas! Everyone had a lovely time.

Pleasant tidy bar. Nice staff. Good service. Had Xmas roast. Good sized portion. Some veg too tough some over cooked, turkey moist, overall good value for the price.

The meals were cheap and ok. But then what do you expect from brewers fayre. Pub itself is fine and well set out staff very friendly and caring especially with some elderly people in. Service all good and so was food no complaints there however disable toilet needs addressing big time. Door closes to quickly no space to turn wheelchair. Emergency pull cord does not meet proper regulations god forbid someone falls not very clean either no cleaning rota on door etc. Very poorly set out! Gave feed back but dudnt seem like they gave a toss. Shame aa everything else was ok

Visited here on the 13-6-2018 and with confidence I can say never again. I took my nieces and my brother here mainly so the girls could play in the play area. We had to clean part of the play area, there was no staff in the kids area for the duration of our time in there. The food arrived very quickly but this is not a good thing as it was clearly reheated. Chips were undercooked burger buns were over grilled and effectively became toast. The burger itself was £12 and it was reheated in the microwave. I find that disgusting. One of the kids has spaghetti bolognaise, no flavour and full of water the other had a small burger this time the bun was almost dough and the burger was again reheated in the microwave. I have uploaded pictures of the awful food we were served. I think the worst part of my visit here was when I took my niece to the toilet, they have a disabled and baby changing toilet so we used that. I am disgusted that I had to make my niece wait whilst I cleaned the toilet as some monster clearly can’t aim, it’s everywhere including the floor, toilet seat and toilet handle. It says the toilets are checked and cleaned but I checked the toilets again as I left and they still had not been cleaned. A full letter with staff names and a more detailed complaint has been constructed and will be sent to head office. I like to give a place more than one chance as we’re all human and have off days but I have now been here twice and both times my experience has been awful. I’d advise if your in this area and are wanting food you have a great selection just two minutes away down Palmerston Road.

Well where shall I start, let me first start by saying I will never return to this place,we came here as the kids wanted to play, the play area was unmanned,I had to find a broom and sweep under my table as there was food everywhere, now I'm no snob and I have 3 children so mess is common but under this table it looked like someone had dropped a grenade. On further investigation I found food everywhere under tables, empty plates on tables, absolute car crash,no-one was clearing up,we had our food within about 20 mins(not bad)the table next to us had been waiting an hour !!! How does that work ???.I ordered full rack of ribs, ribs were dry visually, the sauce(what of it) looked like it had been scraped of someone's left overs and put on my ribs,no presentation atall, all in all terrible experience, this restaurant doesn't deserve the one star I gave to be fair.anyway let's see the pictures you're saying ?
