Burger King in Portsmouth

Wow. Really. Absolutely disappointed and disgusted with the state of the place. Shocking. Food everywhere. Dirty tables. Not even busy. Had to clean my own table. Drinks machine leaking and puddles with wet floor signs. Food was cold and not what I would expect. Had a coffee and it was half full and like warm. Whooper was nice though. Onion rings looked liked the dregs of the bag and all broken and bits. Not 9 pieces that I ordered.

I am afraid i had a bad experience at this restaurant. I arrived around 3pm on a weekday and despite the fact that the restaurant wasn't that busy, they seemed backed up on orders. I ordered my food and went to wait for it. After about 5 mins i was called to the desk and told that i couldn't get the burger i ordered due to a problem with the machine. I asked for a whopper instead and was told that wasn't available either. When i asked what was available i was given the choice of the vegan option. When i asked for a chicken burger i was told that was fine, but it was £2 cheaper than the burger i had ordered. They didn't offer me a refund or anything to compensate for the loss. I had to mention the option to them. I ended up waiting 30 mins for my meal. When i got it to the table, the fries were cold and the burger i was given was the wrong one. I ate it anyway. I then spoke to a senior member of staff about my bad experience and was answered with a lot of excuses. I have worked in 2 fast food restaurants and i would never treat a customer like that.Futhermore i felt sick for the following 24 hours after consuming the food at their restaurant. Maybe i just went on a bad day, but i won't be going back.

In the retail desert of Portsmouth's Commercial Road, this branch of BK is no oasis. The ambience is 'hopelessness' with far too many visible signs of 'don't care'.Only one of four order screens was working. The food was expensive and poor. Astonishingly, sweet chilli sauce had no flavour.

Really not happy with the delivery service, a few times now we have had items missing from our orders and today my child was left without there food. Had to place another order and pay extra delivery charges really not happy.

Dining Area is filthy, not even very busy. Half eaten food left across most tables. Food all over the floor, doesn't appear to be enough staff. Such a shame, Burger King has gone down hill so much. It used too be good.

Weekend before Xmas and with a long queue and 1 person serving. Waited nearly 20 mins for my meal while the man infront was waiting as long for a drink. No one cleaning tables and no staff can only see 2 or 3 members of staff behind counter cooking and doing just eat order's. Floor is filthy where no one is cleaning

Winter burger king yesterday with my partner we waited 20-minutes for are food and food looked and tasted the chips were cold the bun was hard too much sauce the burger was still raw nothing like what it is on the pictures I definitely recommend not to use this this burger king and find somewhere absolute shambles

Shocking, waiting forever, ques out the door, one of the women on the till was completely clueless! It was. Embarrassing. Two managers in the kitchen, the issues were clearly with the till staff not getting the orders out but no one came to help. When after half hr we got our food it was awful cold and dry my husbands fell apart when he bit into it. Couldn't complain as couldn't get to the till without another half hr wait! I wouldn't recommend going there go a bit further and get from a better bk.

Driver didn't come with our order and just eat was being weird with the refund. Guy named Laurence spent a meal allowance on us when we called the restaurant and got a driver to drop it off. Wouldn't have any food that night without Laurence from burger King. Food is also pretty good.
