I love this Chinese restaurant. The food always comes in the estimated time, it’s always hot & tastes amazing. They never miss out anything from my order & sometimes even add extras :)

We ordered quite a few items from the menu and I have to say this is one of the few Chinese take aways where the noodles aren't greasy or undercooked. I would definitely order from this place again

No costumer service, worst experience for a long time. Very hard communication and almost impossible to speak to. Don’t waste your time get a better takeaway. Also not very reasonably priced

Always a big step into the unknown when you have to change your local Chinese and try something new - but there were no disappointments here! Speedy service, tasty food, friendly employees. Price is a little higher than some other takeaways but if you see it as a treat instead of a regular occurance then I'd say it's worth it. I've got high standards for my duck curry but China House passed the tests! Delicious.

The best Chinese in Pompey!! Sure it's not cheap but neither is a Ferrari when compared to a Fiesta! If you like quality you won't be disappointed, we haven't been once over the many years we have used them!

They have it nailed: fast , reasonable cost and good food. And last night they re-used the containers, from a previous meal, that I'd washed and dropped back to them earlier in the day. Feeling this could help save our planet, "every little helps". Well done China House.

Really lovely Chinese takeaway. We always use the China House. We have tried others, not wanting to seem boring, but we always go back to here. The food is fresh, hot and always arrives in good time. Delicious!

It was my first visit to this Chinese and I must admit that I am very impressed with the food I bought. It was packed full of delicious ingredients and was full of flavor. I will be definitely going back again the next time I am hungry for a Chinese meal xcx

I ordered two curry's which the menu states come with boiled rice, they both came with egg rice, which is something I'd even added to my order notes as the same mistake was made in the past. There was also an entire chow mein missing for the order.I then had to spend a considerable amount of time on the phone explaining the issue, as the staff member was adamant my receipt didn't state a particular type of rice and only confirmed there was a mistake once I'd made him check the wording on their own website, which is where I’d ordered from.They eventually offered to send replacements for the incorrect and missing items, however by this point the correct items in the order were long cold, so I requested the entire order be resent. They stated the kitchen was too busy to make an entire replacement order and offered a minimal partial refund, but when I asked if they were still accepting new orders, they confirmed, meaning the kitchen was in fact not too busy to replace my order and after I highlighted this, they agreed to resend everything.Upon the replacement order arriving, the delivery driver was extremely unprofessional and rude about the situation, repeatedly remarking “Are you happy now?” in a sarcastic and passive aggressive manner, making us feel like we were an inconvenience and had exploited their service.This clearly was the restaurants mistake and I don't think expecting the correct you've paid for to be too much to ask. I did not once receive any sort of verbal apology and will definitely not be ordering from here again after the poor level of service I have received.
