Cosham Balti in Portsmouth

Tasty food and fast service. We order regularly from this takeaway and have never been disappointed. Their curries are on the mild (read: sweet) side and the same dish can sometimes vary in flavour but it's always delicious. My other half always orders the same while I've tried many of their curries and side. Food is usually ready within 15-20 mins of calling. We keep coming back and I would highly recommend this place.

Ordered from the most up to date menu but when I arrived to collect there was a sign saying takeaway menu prices were wrong and I found myself being charged an extra five pounds. Their ad also says on a Sunday and Monday you get a free samosa for orders over 15 pounds but we got none. Chicken was reasonable but the lamb was tough and chewy. My first time back here for a few years after they kept getting my orders wrong, and they have not improved. Won't be returning.

Best curry house in the town. Tried other 5* ones doesn’t even come close. This is the best

We ordered food for 9 Adults and 3 children for a 21st Birthday dinner. The food was ready on time and was very tasty. Everyone enjoy it and said it was like eating out. I highly recommend this takeaway.

So... Friendly guy always willing to adjust dishes to suit if required tho it would be a fussy pallette that couldn't find something really nice here to satisfy the hunger for a decent curry... Tucked away in Cosham the reviews speak for themselves, takeaway only tho worth the trek.. Try it for yourself!! Enjoy...

Being of asian origin and having curry at home I normally dont tend to enjoy takeaways however this place is very good I love the curries would definitely reccomend! 10/10

I have visited this Indian Takeaway a few times now and every time I am met with very friendly service, and the food.... Wow. A wide variety, Very tasty, reasonably priced and large portions too. This is hands-down the best Indian in Portsmouth, if not on the South Coast.

We are very disappointed. We decided to order based on all the good reviews we saw here. We feel like we've thrown away £35, and it's a shame we cannot give it back.We ordered Chef's special lamb, prawn dopiaza and mixed tandoori. Only the dopiaza was eatable. The chef's special was sweet to the point of being inedible (it only tasted of sugar and coconut). The tandoori meats were soggy and very tough, as if cooked in a microwave.We're not picky eaters at all, and often eat Indian foods. Even so we're very disappointed, and can only hope that it was only what we ordered or that the restaurant has had a bad day.

Have for the first time ordered from the balti and all I can say is omg and wow. Amazing food and great service. Will definitely be ordering again
