Visited on a busy Friday evening.Really good restaurant bar bistro. Good menu and nice atmosphere.

My first time here, I didn't expect much from it, I thought it was just another chain pub. I was happy to find that croxton's is an independent. The food was absolutely delicious, well presented and worth it. Great atmosphere and very polite and helpful staff. Can't wait to go back again and tell all my friends about it , keep the great work team 👌

We had booked ahead, a fairly big group, 12 of us. But when we arrived they had our booking wrong. Bad news. The guy who welcomed us looked like he had died inside. He couldn't fit us in. We had to leave. We stood around outside for a bit thinking of where to go, but then, like a lovely angel the guy who had welcomed us called us back in and he had managed to sort us out. Finding 2 tables and enough chairs. Great result. We then got 2-4-1 cocktails which were delicious, and everyone's food was banging. Apart from the katsu "loaded" fries. Very underwhelming, basically the standard fries with a bit of curry sauce on top, but for double the price. I had the Asian chicken burger which was grand. Big shout out to the front of house guy tho.

Nice venue, friendly staff, food not all that, re-heated burgers not good, how long does it take to cook a burger from fresh? Beer expensive, London prices. Nice place but food not fresh and beer top dollar so only a 3 for me.

Croxton's used to be amazing but the last couple of times have been a little disappointing - my partner and I went a few days prior for the roast dinners as previously they were excellent - this time not so much, dry and tough to eat. My partner had to leave a potato as neither of us could cut it open it was that hard. Fast forward to steak night earlier this week - our server who was clearly flustered got my partner's steak preferences wrong, keep getting drinks orders wrong and actually overcharged us by £3 (didn't notice until we got home...). The food ended up being an improvement on the previous roast and the salsa Verde was incredible. They also ran out of draft Shant (their craft lager which was advertised as £3 per pint on that night) so was offered a can for the same price and told it was the same amount of beer - this wasn't true as a pint is 568ml and the offered can was only 440ml. We'd love to come back and see improvements as we love the place. 😊

Came here for a roast today, WOW 🤩 deffo five staff. Food was amazing so much on your plate, quality of food was so tasty. High recommend to come here. Good value for money for the food you get. Atmosphere is really lovely too. Staff are so friendly nothing is to much trouble. Compliments to the chef.

REALLY tasty food! the halloumi fries are a MUST HAVE! the chilli sauce i threw on my brisket fries really perfected them. staff were kind but a bit too busy and rushed, we weren't able to get their attention as easily as I'd hoped, hopefully the managers bring on some more staff to help with demand.

I've been to Croxton's a handful of times and the options for both food and beer are always excellent. The chicken katsu burge was massive and delicious, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside! We also got a couple starters, halloumi fries and the spicy soy flank steak; the steak was served rare with a phenomenal soy mariande.Highly recommend!

Great dirty vegan burger and the whole place has open window which makes the air circulation much better! Having some vegie burger could help and maybe having sauces on the table would be great as well. The staff member were not wearing masks so if they can wear masks this will be better for the current situation. However they had loads of hand sanitising stations which were great!

An affordable place for a spot of lunch. The food tasted great; it was very flavourful and filling, to say the least – although the 'filling' aspect was owing in part to the rather generous serving of fries. I felt bad for not being able to finish them, but in all honesty, they swamped my plate (as per attached image). It would've been more enjoyable if they'd been of a reasonable portion.
