Very tasty food and fantastic service. It was our first time to try an african restaurant and we are happy that this is the place that we went to. Thank you for the warm welcome, Bankie. I highly recommend this place.

Really nice food and friendly sercice. Just passed by it and decided to give a try. Very good find. Bankie is super friendly and gave us some good recommendations based on our preferences. We had Sawa Sawa and the Okra. Both were lovely. I very much the Sawa Sawa, as it had some nice spicyness into it.Highly recommended place

My partner and I went for dinner, he had cassava leaf stew with plain rice and it was sublime. Myself had jollof rice with fry fish….. did I mention we had pepper soup with cassava and that for me was a PLUS it was sooo good. Bankie customer service was amazing too. Be sure to have a visit and indulge in the Sierra Leone cuisine.

This restaurant should be closed and shut down immediately! Poor service and no professionalism. We had a family dinner on Saturday 18th December and we waited two hours to receive our food and we didn't get our food only 4 out 15 received their food. They're food was not fresh they microwave frozen vegetables tonserve me curry mixed vegetables. Guys please do not go here its been 3 days after since we been there and we're in still in disbelief on the service we received. We had a look at other reviews and see other people share similar experience. This is an honest review an I'm honestly disappointed please do not go to this place. I don't understand how its still operating

Excellent blend of West African cuisine, particularly those looking to try Sierra Leonean, Nigerian, Ivorian and Ghanaian dishes in London. 🇸🇱🇳🇬🇮🇪🇬🇭Mr Jones and the Calabash team are very friendly, hospitable and polite hosts who definitely take care of you whatever the occasion.😃👌🏽💯Clean, comfy seating space, well-conditioned and within close proximity of both Greenwich's archaic sites and the 02 arena.Great prices and value for food dishes - celebrated my Mum's birthday dinner outing there and did not regret at all!Highly recommended!😋

To say I am disappointed would be an understatement with this restaurant. I called and ordered foods from their online menu, spoke to a young lady and gave my order. She confirmed the price which I agreed. When my husband went to collect the food, the agreed price had all of a sudden incorrect and were requesting almost doubled the price on the online menu. My husband then call me to confirm the price with me which I had to screenshot the online price and send to him to show them. All this while the young girl on the reception desk / cashier was been rude to my husband (very lacking in customer service). Their excuse was that I ordered from one of the promotional online menu and the price is wrong. After the older Male (owner) had agreed to the promotional price the cashier girl then deceitfuly entered a different amount into the PDQ and luckily my husband noticed it and had to call her out and the older male had to refund him the difference. This was a very deceitful act and the girl very mischievous. To make this worse the food jollof and fish was absolutely appalling and very bland, not sure what type of African restaurant this is but definitely doesn't taste nor look like Nigerian dishes (my husband couldn't eat it as it was that bad). If we can give a zero, that would represent our experience with this restaurant and surely will not be patronizing such venue.

Food (once it arrived) was lovely - great portions, and background music, value for money. However, there was very little social distancing and they were clearly flaunting the current Covid 19 government guidelines. It’s like they tried to cram in as many people (table and chairs) as possible. People that were seated long after my mother and I arrived were served starters and mains before we did. Staff were friendly enough, but were clearly rushed off their feet and were not familiar with the menu as my mother has allergies. We had to bring it to their attention a number of times that we were still waiting for our orders to be taken and again for our food. We unnecessarily spent 3 hours at this restaurant due to poor service.

The food was delicious, we got the grilled fish, jollof, plantain and jumbo wings. Would highly recommend all. I collected a takeaway and as the restaurant was shut for eat in because of tier 3, I was able to talk to the owner and staff who were the friendliest people. I can’t wait to be able to come here for a meal when we are out of tier 3 and will be ordering again very soon. Thank you! The best food!

Some of the most delicious food I've eaten, maybe ever. My only regret is getting full too early and not being able to order more food!! Highly recommend the okra and foofoo. Staff is so friendly, food is so bomb -- what's not to love? Everything was great. Highly recommend.
