Efes Kebab in Portsmouth

My friend & I ordered a small marinated chicken kebab with salad & Mayo, my friend had a large chicken kebab, no salad and Mayo. The delivery time was perfect, the driver Brian was lovely, friendly & very polite. The food itself was absolutely delicious, chicken cooked to perfection & the salad was fresh. We would never use any other kebab shop in Portsmouth. Thank you Efes for our bank holiday Monday dinner.

Been going here for 25 years. Lovely freshly cooked food, love their marinated cabbage and garlic sauce. Staff always friendly.

Waited 1.5hours for our order. Food was microwaved, soggy, brown lettuce. Soggy chips. Absolutely awful. I’ve used efes for 10 years and I will not return.

Popped in here after we had been shopping at gunwharf quays. I have to say that the food was very good, staff were very attentive and friendly . If I am in Portsmouth again will definitely come here again....and the chilli sauce was that good we brought some home with us. Thank you guys and keep up the good work!!

Excellent food!! They’ve really stepped up their game again! Chicken fillet burgers are fresh and tasty, an real chicken not processed! Must ask for fillet otherwise you will get a processed one!!Lamb donner and chicken donner is awesome! The chicken is as close to sharwarma as you will get!Chips are tasty an always fresh and the salad!!The chilli sauce is homemade and always tasty!!Give me them a try, delivery is good!! But the real food happens when you go see them!!

A little disappointed this time. I’ve used them 3-4 times. This time I was ignored waiting as they were busy focusing on online orders. To be fair they were a little sheepish when they realised they ignored meOne thing I have never understood is why they charge more than the prices on their menu on the board. It’s been a few months since they say prices have gone up but their board hasn’t been updatedI ordered chicken nuggets and chips and onion rings for £6.20Everything was a small portion. I got about 4-5 pieces onion rings for £1 (probably cost them 20-30p), 6 chicken nuggets and chips (£5.20, probably cost them £1-2 at the most?) so they make over 300-400% profit, so why such tiny portions?I’m going to be making my own takeaways from now onI’ve given 3 starts as their chilli sauce is good

Ordered a chicken Shish wrap for myself and a lamb shish special for my sibling and this is the best kebab I have had in Portsmouth! Every time - they are consistent, good service with delicious food and good portion sizes. One of the best in Portsmouth hands down 😋

Effes used to be banging, the no 1 place to quench your late night hunger, but the last order I had was ordered online, delivered in 5 mins but stone cold, seemed like it has bee sat for a while but delivered very quickly. It's a real shame as these guys used to be the best.

Fantastic service and fantastic food. I had a mixed lamb shish and chicken doner. So so yummy. Best bread in town for sure.
